Bought matching washer and dryer. Best experience ever...they delivered them according to our schedule, not some shipping company's schedule. They hooked them up, made sure they ran with no problems, took away the packaging and we are completely satisfied. Usually have whay I need. I'd rather buy here and pay a little extra, compared to wasting my time and gas to go somewhere else. People should support local businesses, supports our community.

Hooked up my dishwasher. Prompt servïce and reasonable price. Came back and installed garbage disposal and fixed a leaking toilet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCICCHITANO 👏

Nice local hardware store stop is always courteous they have a good supply of stuff though the price of seem kind of high but not too bad

Tony and staff went above and beyond. We had a washer/dryer delivery and install. The first choice turned out to be too large. They graciously returned the units, reordered and reinstalled a new set. Totally professional and personable crew. Thanks and will do business with them again in the future!

Do not use this place for plumbing services. They replaced a simple drain pipe for me and never tightened it. Within one week my bathroom was full of water. Today, three years later, my bathroom is full of water again. Why? Because there is a rotted hole in the bottom of the S pipe. I have never used draino or anything corrosive. I'm not sure why a pipe of such measly quality would even be manufactured, let alone used by a plumbing service. Thank you "plumbers" for your junk service and junk parts.

As far as Local Hardware Store's go it fits in the category well. They do carry a few extra things than you might not know, such as Flat Screen Tvs, Surround Sound Bars, Fridgerators/Freezers, Grills/ Smokers, etc. I believe you can actually view a catalog and they can order in whatever they don't have on hand in the Store, easiest thing to do whether your looking for a specific product/manufacturer or something you don't see in the store would be to just talk to the Manager and he will explain what they can do. Also they do offer general construction work, examples would be they will deliver your newly purchased Stove as well as remove your old one and even if you order shingles you may pay to have them repair or replace your existing roof, again you would have to talk to the manager or owner to get more specific answers to your questions but I hope this gives you a general idea if they can help with what you're looking for.

Awful appliance service/repair. Called about a noise my dryer was making, took them 4 days to come and fix it and it was still making a noise. Paid them in cash so there was no problem with payment. Was charged $153.00 for bearings Cut to two weeks later and the dryer completely stops working, call them again. Called on a Friday, no call by Monday around 4 so called back and was told that there was no message that I had even called on Friday. What?? Didn't get them to come out until Wednesday. They said the belt was broken and that they would call with prices. No call Thursday so we called Friday. Was basically told that the repair team would get to us when they get to us. This was a week with no dryer and 6 people in the house. Lugging wet clothes to the local Laundromat. We even asked to speak to a manager and was told that he was not in. Called another time to be told the same thing. The guy that answers the phone is so rude, didn't even care that we had been waiting even for a call back let alone a service date. Only plus was that the repair team was nice and courteous, cleaned up after working on the dryer. There are not many choices for appliance repair in the Shamokin/Mt Carmel area but be advised. Please call someone else before you call Scicchitano Hardware.
