We offer Preferred Warranties to all our customers. The experience with them has been fantastic. They are always professional and always honest. When my customers have claims, Preferred Warranties do what they say they will do. It is refreshing to have some peace of mind when customers have repairs that are covered by a warranty.

I recently purchased a car that came with a "warranty" through this company. The car, my only means of transportation, started overheating on the Friday of a Holiday Weekend and had to go to a shop. When I made it home that evening, I attempted to contact the company to file a claim, but they were closed and they aren't open on weekends either. Their website says in an emergency situation to refer to your contract; the paperwork I had only listed their main, currently closed, phone number. I filled out the claim form on their website, as my last option, filled in all required information, and received a confirmation email when complete. And, waited. Tuesday late afternoon came around, and the shop was ready to work on the vehicle, with no word from PWI. It has now been two weeks and they have not attempted to contact me. Not that it matters, being the paperwork states they will not pay for any work that hasn't been pre-approved by them. The next dealer I go to that uses this company, I'll go elsewhere.

I've been in the car business for just about 10 years as a salesman, I have recently taken on the challenge and opportunity of overseeing a used car store and running all the F&I responsibilities. There was tons of people that came into my office to get me on board with what they stated is ( the best service contracts and company ) as they sat in my office trying to sell me on their product I quickly lost interest and decided to move on without using their services. Warranty reps where coming in on a weekly basis but couldn't meet my expectations on what I was expecting. A lot seemed to have no clue about what was going on and exactly how their company they where representing would help me accomplish my goals in creating a safe and trust worthy place for not only the dealership but also my clients. THEN THERE WAS ANNA HAUSLER , who came in and of course in my mind, I'm like here we go again but literally within a couple minutes you knew anna as been in my shoes and understood my challenges and understands the customer base that comes within this line of business. She completely earned my trust with her knowledge and professionalism. She quickly and thoroughly took me through the steps, morals and dedication that PWI stands on for their clients and she herself really seemed to have my back. Not only that but literally responded to every phone call and text within minutes if not seconds when I needed guidance, help or advice with absolutely no hesitation or bother. ANNA if you read this THANK YOU

I had purchased a vehicle from a dealership who used Preferred Warranties Inc as the 3rd party warranty company. It was an older used vehicle with 124k miles on it and a 2012 so I went the safe route and got the power train package. Fortunately I did because 4 months and 2,000 miles later the engine would not turn over or operate. After spending hours upon hours looking for an auto shop that would work with a warranty company I finally found one. I had my truck towed on February 28, 2021. Only a few days later The Auto Shop determined the cause of the engine failing to operate was bent valves and recommended I needed a new engine. It was a major hassle to get them to move their feet on this and insider I am without a vehicle. It took about 3 weeks for the warranty company to agree and finally order one. The wait time on the engine was another month. A day after the engine was supposed to be delivered they contacted the auto shop to let them know they are having trouble getting parts to rebuild the engine and wanted to settle with throwing in an engine that already had 90k miles on it. To me that is unacceptable. The auto shop found another engine that 0 miles on it and the delivery timeframe of it is towards the end of May. However, I’ve been without a vehicle this whole time and they are not offering to help with a rental car while my truck will be in the shop for roughly 3 months straight.

When I think of PWI, two names come to mind (Ms. Dawn & Ms. Kimberly). There were some misunderstanding with my claim. However, instead of simply ignoring my demand, Ms. Dawn and Ms. Kimberly went to work hard and insured that my concern was remedied. My car is fixed and I'm back to providing for my family. As I write this positive review, it is important for both consumers and service providers to be patient, understanding and objective. Before we rush to writing a negative review as consumers, let's not forget that someone else can do the same to us as service providers or independent business orders. I take the time to write this message, both as a consumer but also as a service provider. Again thank you to PWI under the solid guidance of Ms. Dawn and Ms. Kimberly.
