Rented a 1 ton Dodge Ram pickup for the weekend. Was about 20 minutes into my drive when the brakes went out on the vehicle and I nearly rear ended the car in front of me. Called for road side assistance. Their only concern was making sure their "asset" was in a safe spot. Asked when a replacement vehicle would be brought out to me. Their answer was to call the branch where I picked up. I then informed them that the branch was closed for the weekend. Their response was then we can't help you, we only deal with roadside issues. I asked how I was supposed to get anywhere as I was stranded on the side of the road at night. Their response from the "supervisor" was to call the same number that I already was on (trying to get me off the phone). I then tried calling the rent-a-car line just asking if a light duty pickup could be brought out. They told me the same thing, call the closed branch. Seeing how I wasn't going to get help, I had to call an Uber and leave all of my tools and equipment in the bed of the truck (and hope they wouldn't get stolen) and go pick up my personal vehicle. About an hour after I got off the phone and got back to my house, roadside assistance called back and said that they could authorize a tow to my destination. I asked why wasn't this option given to me when I called the first time. Couldn't give me an answer. Called another branch Saturday morning and was told they have no trucks available and would not be able to bring any vehicles out. So lesson learned is that if you break down in one of their vehicles and its after hours, you are on your own. No plans in place for how to get someone back on the road after a break down. No "on call" manager that could respond in an emergency. Just figure it out yourself. As a former employee I thought Enterprise was the bench mark. Guess not.

I rented a cargo Van from here last October, I was quoted 18 cents a mile and charged 27 cents a mile. I also was talked into insurance after declining, because I was told it would only be $24, it sounded too good to be true so I asked what the total would be with the insurance. He gave me the total and I agreed. After I dropped the van off, I was charged an additional $24 PER DAY! for the 8 days I had it. Not even close to the total price he told me. When I called to discuss these charges, I was told the rep that was not in and he would call me when he got back. Well, I never heard from them and they never got my business again. Really dishonest business practices. I would recommend going through someone else.
