This rating just concerns Customer Service. I tried to send money by via Western Union to Riverdale, Georgia USA. The person waiting on me stated "all we need is the State it is going to." The person I was sending it to never received it because it went to the Country of Georgia. I had to call Western Union to get a refund and was told "MAKE SURE THEY PUT CITY AND STATE WHEN SENDING MONEY.". It was a process but Praise the Lord I was straightened out

For the most the workers are friendly, helpful& professional. The desk& cashiers are courteous. The Brown family seem to care. One problem is the bags. The paper ones come apart.& maybe take page from target on bags 1.28 can go to food for those on a budget

Refrigeration in the meat department had not been working properly for at least a week. Already purchased turkey that was "fowl"and had to be discarded. Why wasn't this problem addressed immediately and why is meat not kept at a safe temperature continued to be sold?

This location is the largest grocery store in Roxborough. The overall selection is decent and most of the staff are friendly. This location does a good job keeping several clerks working and the check out lines moving. The bread/roll selection is dismall and the bakery is just ok. The deli is usually running pretty slow. The meat section is stocked pretty well with decent prices and their shoprite brand italian sauage is actually pretty good. Bowns fire grilled chicken is dynamite if you get it fresh and the new Wok Works is also pretty good for a quick clean meal.

I started going to the Acme more, even though I like the selection and some prices better at this Shoprite. The reason is the staff at the self checkout. Every time I've ever gone there people are looking around helplessly while the machines stall because the sensors are picking things up they shouldn't. And every time, the employee there to monitor is not paying attention. The woman today was on her phone or rubbing a scratch off ticket. When I spoke to her she was rude, condescending and interrupted, rather than polite and listening. I've walked out of the place and left food there at the register after cancelling my purchase before. That's how frustrating it's been at this place. I ran into a friend in line once. She checked out, paid, and Didn't get change from the machine. The employee couldn't retrieve it from the machine and told her she would have to come back another time to get it. WRONG. You get the woman her money immediately and apologize. Of course it's easy to dismiss things like this as someone being a "Karen" or a "Ken", but several employees there simply lack basic manners and customer service skills. If that gets me labeled as such, fine. But this Ken will continue to choose to go elsewhere. Frankly it's pure ignorance to act like people should have come from their mother's wombs knowing how to navigate a self checkout machine. Especially since the store is paying someone to be there for monitoring and help. Other stores in the area simply have better customer service.

Store hours are to be till 11pm and you can not enter store with a shopping cart because entrance is locked. You can go in through the exit however you have to go all around to the self checkout to get to any of the Isles to shop. They also get on them loudspeaker starting at 10:15 telling everybody that the store will be closing in 45 minutes please get your stuff and bring it to self check out and they continue to do that very loudly until you're out of the store.

The store is a disgrace. Half the shelves are unstocked but the workers are standing around doing nothing. There was NO shopping carts at the doors and people had to go out in the parking lot and get their cart from the cart return. The only good part of the trip was Debby the cashier. She's always pleasant.

The staff and other shoppers are very helpful, friendly, and neighborly. Every time I go, people are always helping each other out. The store is clean, well stocked, and has a great selection. And the prices and sales are wonderful. If I can do shopping for 1 for about $110-$150 a month, that's awesome! Make sure you download digital coupons. Great feature
