My only issue is with checkout. Besides self checkout There was only one regular register open and it had a ridiculously long line.

Uh oh,,,time to switch to Shaws Market. I always take care of business at the service desk at Stop & SHOP. Lottery, money orders whatever but now the service desk is usually closed. And at ALL of the Island locations. They now call it their " Solution Desk" but for some reason they do not have the solution to keep it open. Crazy,,plus usually only ONE register is open forcing you to stand in line at self checkout. Service is becoming a thing of the past,,,Shaws or Clements now! Too bad...

Saturday morning. Long line at self check out. One employee running in circles. 1 of 12 registers open with one confessed kid and no bagger!!! (Line up the aisle ) Managers hiding upstairs. Two employees hanging out by curbside delivery. One wondering the parking lot grabbing the occasional cart. (Bagger? Register?) There are no carts in the lot because no one is getting out of the place!!! Absolutely horrible experience for all customers. Sincerely, John

I come to this store a few times a wk. This woman. Dorothy, her attitude is horrible. I have never seen her smile. I had a pack of burger that was supposed to have a digital coupon. I showed her my phone that it would let me clip it. She looked, and walked away.. And proceeded to help everyone else (I'm in self ck out) I politely called out asking her to get a manager. Wouldn't even look 8n my direction customers are now paying attention. I finally left the machine and grabbed the manager myself.. Very nice person he was. That woman is absolutely ridiculous

Great setup, easy movement and flow thru the aisles, had plenty of open self cash outs, but the wait lines were down the aisles for cashier lines. The self cash out computer kept telling me to place the item back in the bagging area, when i placed it there and never moved it. It did it 4 or 5 times throughout my checkout and had to have an employee come over and fix it. When she came over for the last time, with a smirk on her face, I voiced my frustration and said if it does it again I'm leaving everything here and walking out. With today's technological brilliance, this process should not have this many hiccups. As i was waiting for her to fix it, I looked around and 6 or the 7 spots being used had their lights on to be fixed as well. Ugh!

I have to use a rollater to walk to S&S and every time I get hamburger meat and get it home and open it to find it is olive green inside and smells. Also, I tried the premade hamburgers by Laura and what a horrid smell!! The meat they put on clearance is a disgrace. I wouldn't feed it to my dog!!

Really terrible experience. We had $300+ dollars worth of groceries that we had to use self check out for. Only one lane was open. We cancelled the self checkout to wait in line for 20 minutes to then bag our own groceries as quick as possible so the other people didn’t have to wait. There was hardly any shoppers in the store so this all due to no employees I’m assuming. Terribly inefficient. I’m not using a self check out lane for a cart full groceries, that’s ridiculous. Will never go here again.

Just wanted to say normally after using self check out I need a drink and dread it, but today was different! The nicest woman was the attendant, her name was Mary lou. No matter how many times that damn sensor went off and she had to come over she always had a smile on her face and said something to make me laugh! I hope she knows that her kindness made a difference in my day and Im sure for many others. She is a huge asset to your team! God Bless her💕
