We are so lucky the gar we got made the trip. These guys should check the cars better before they rent them. When we called axis to tell them the problem, they told us we would be charged if they had to come out. Come on, it's your car that we paid to rent. Disappointing to say the least.

My weight was okay the car was really good and the counter people when I got they were having an issue with a printer and they still held it together and did really well and when I returned it two days later the printer was still having issues in the girl behind the counter was not frazzled and she did very well also

The car smelled like cigarettes. They say you can't smoke in the car but they give me a car that reeks of smoke.They charged an additional fee when the vehicle was returned that was never discussed "select and go" when I called customer service they told me it was a refund not a charge, that was a lie.... I had to call back to ask for the manager who eventually refunded the charge. What a horrible experience. No wonder they make so much money they are professional scammers....

Good car… mostly done on line… However, I did put my debit card in and it was excepted online… BUT, of course, it was not excepted for pick up. and there was a huge delay on me going to get a credit card.. should state “”PROBLEM, need credit card… bank debit not accepted.” Instead of excepting on line then saying screw you basically.,

The car given to me had the following... 1) broken/shattered windshield developed into a 2 feet crack before I reached my destination. I could have sued AVIS if there was any accident if the windshield is broken while I was driving. 2) strong cigarettes' smell, could not even breathe comfortably during the rental. 3) fuel tank was marked as full, I trusted AVIS but you failed, it was only 3/4 full. 4) windshield washer fluid was empty, I had to take an exit to refill it. 5) car was dirty and not clean inside; car had dents and scratches all over the body. This car should not have been rented out before checking out everything. I was very disappointed and scared to think of renting again with AVIS.

Dishonest employees at the Boston Logan Airport location. I left a BankNewport jacket that is provided only to few BankNewport employees on top of the rental car at the return location and I was told that it was not found. I know exactly where I left it and the employees cleaning the vehicle cannot miss it (impossible). I was told that it was not found. I say that it was stolen and I am sure of that. I will never rent vehicles with Avis. Your agreement does not change the fact that your company is infested with dishonest/dirty employees and based on the business agency relationship, your company is untrustworthy and dirty as well.

rigid policies and not customer friendly staff. Very hard to reach to an agent and the automated choices are only for dimple and straight transactions. The system doesn’t recognize a slight change in accent which i find obnoxious. Why have an AI system that can’t detect a non-americanized accent?

Worst experience ever ever. Had reservation went to pick up. They couldn't swipe credit card. I said can't you type in the number? no. Can you take my atm/debit? No. Can I use Google pay- no. Can I pay online- no. What are my options- nothing we will cancel your reservation and ruin your trip!

Asked for a rental to be returned at the end of the NEXT day. Lady only asked what size vehicle I wanted and initial the receipt. I go to return the vehicle, only to find out she only gave me 24hrs, 6 hrs short of what I requested and put EVERY insurance under the sun down WITHOUT asking me. So I payed double then what I was quoted plus extra because she added insurance I didn't want. I won't be using Avis again, tearing up my membership card ✌🏽
