Very nice people, they could have charged me an arm and leg to take the skin tag off my dog's ear,but they didn't! Thanks Greenwood Veterinary! ❤

While they help my animals, I took 2 cats here 4 months apart. Seen 2 different drs, got 2 different prices but the same diagnosis. This time I got charged $33 for saline drip that took literally 4 minutes. $22 for nausea tablets but also $36 for a 1 day injection of the same med. $42 for a b12 injection with dextrose. But no antibiotic injection, just antibiotics I have to give him. First time I was give the antibiotics after a test was ran and paid $100. Why pay more depending on the dr? I even told him 200 was too much. But he did what he could to make the bill go up

I have taken my dog to this vet for 3 years now, and absolutely love the vet and the techs. The tech I recently saw was very helpful and made sure my dog was comfortable while giving shots. The drs I have seen in the past were nothing but helpful especially whenever I was a new dog mom and had no idea what to do about skin irritations. Some of the front desk ladies are beyond nice and helpful, but others are not. I get my dogs medication sent to the local pharmacy where I work just because it’s easier for me to get it monthly plus I can pay for it with our gift cards. The front desk lady who checked me out the other day said that she would call it in as soon as she got a chance. Whenever I arrived to work today, there was no sign of anything being called in. I had one of my coworkers call up there to get the prescription so that we could order the medication and the lady on the phone stated that she had no documentation of any medication that was suppose to be called in. After my coworker explaining what she was told, I called up there myself and the lady snapped on me stating she had no documentation. I snapped back and said that I spent over $100 there yesterday and want my dogs medication called into the place that I ask and that I was told it would be done yesterday. (Mind you, we don’t keep dog medication on hand.. it has to be ordered and comes in a few days later). The lady asked in a rude tone what medication she was on and I stated it. And she said how much does the dog weigh and I said 49 pounds as of yesterday. (Once again “no document”) after she said that she would call it in but it would be a little bit and hung up abruptly. 15 or so minutes later, she called up and gave the technician attitude while giving her these scripts. When my coworker asked the directions to put on the label, the lady snapped and said “use as directed.” And hung up. Working in a pharmacy, I understand that sometimes it’s hard to remember every little thing someone asks you to do as they are walking out, but the way that I was spoken to and my coworker was spoken to twice is very very unprofessional. The same thing happened last year whenever I went to get her medication. Other than that I would give this vet 5 stars, but having this situation occur multiple times whenever she needs her flea and tick medicine/heart worm medicine is ridiculous.

My precious 9 week old Yellow Lab puppy, Sandy Sue, just didn’t seem right and was already looking skinny compared to that little chunky baby I had been playing with and snuggling! So Friday I called Greenwood Animal Hospital and explained my worries. They were great from that initial phone call! Said they were busy but would be happy to meet us at 3p as a new patient! I took Sandy and a potty sample to test was met at the counter by a very friendly office staff and taken back within 10min of arrival… Miss Kathy the Vet Tech tested the sample I brought and confirmed my fears that “Sandy was loaded with hook worms” 😭 they prepared the meds she needed and gave her the first dose in the office then I gave 2 more doses Saturday and Sunday and will repeat the meds in 3 weeks! I had found out that one of the puppies in the liter died of hookworms which was why I felt it so urgent I be seen same day when I called the vet! Thank you Greenwood Animal Hospital for hearing my concerns and squeezing us into your busy day!!! The love you have for animals is clear and you are not just in business for the money!!! Sandy has been given her distemper again from Dr Walden and meds for the hook worms. Today she finally ate really good and has remained just as sweet and playful! No diarrhea and no lethargy so I really believe we got lucky and she is going to be OK, as will the other puppies from this liter that I reached out to when I found out my little girl was sick! The breeder felt awful and said he will not be using the meds he bought from a retailer anymore. Going back to Dr Walden for a recheck, next set of puppy shots, rabies vaccine, and microchip on June 3rd! I am so thankful I was able to find such a great Vet office with over 70 years in business serving the community! Greenwood Animal Hospital with Dr Walden, Ms Kathy, and the entire office staff were amazing!!! Solid 10/10 on their services, care, and fees!

Polite staff. Dr. was personable and quick. The vet tech was also wonderful. A little expensive, but that may just be me, I feel that way about every vet I've ever been too. At least the staff here are great and took great care of my 2 dogs and cat. Will definitely be our go to animal care professionals.

Everyone was warm and caring and thought it was great fun when I told them that both my son and my nephew had worked there in the past. Really enjoyed meeting Dr Walden's son. He was terrific just like his dad. Wish I lived closer so I could bring pray tell there all the time.

Everyone is so sweet and nice. They are so compassionate with your fur babies. Plenty of parking and great prices. I will use them for my cats and dogs.

Tiger zilla had his recheck to have bandages removed today after his ear cropping last week. Will be back Friday for suture removal. Dr Walden Sr cropped my last Male Dobie some 25 years ago and I was pleased to bring 'Zilla here for his. (My last 3 female dobies & current stud all had their ear cropped when I got them, but I am the breeder now). Love Dr Walden. Cannot recommend them highly enough. When I lived in Greenwood, this was exactly where all my dogs went!

Took my pug here after another vet told me she would need hip surgery but kept putting me off about scheduling it. Come to find out she also needed surgery on her knee. The vet diagnosed it just by how see was standing then confirmed it. Great staff they were super nice both times I've took my baby there.
