Well, I wish it was still Save a lot. Sears is full of rude people. They couldn’t even find a 9 volt battery for me. Plus, one of them called me like we call a dog asking me to leave my bag at the front of the shop. I don’t mind doing what they require, but please have some manners. I really do not like this store.

The appliances are fine. However, my flooring in my newly built home was damaged and they refused to help. The store manager told me that Lowe's sell a product that can fix it. She says that they hired an independent contractor for delivery and that their insurance company will not assist with damages made by delivery service. 😡

My mom bought and paid fur a refrigerator in March. After sever calls and delivery dates it finally was delivered LATE July. After installation the freezer works but not the refrigerator portion. Luckily they sent a “service” man out this morning. Guess what “ it’s 78 degrees in there and not working “ per the repairman?? I would just like a refund and we will go elsewhere.

Great store, great people, and even better prices! I have learned the hard way to always check the Hometown store before I go to Lowe's or Home Depot, 99% of the time they're going to be cheaper! On top of that, they're customer service is the best of the best. Getting help is always quick and easy. I'd much rather deal with local people who are going to remember my face, and value me as a customer, rather than deal with the big box stores. Thank you for the great customer service guys and keep up the good work!!! You've got a lifelong customer here!

Spent $2,000 on washer, dryer, dish washer and grill at Greenwood, SC store. Waited 2 weeks for delivery and installation. Called the store 5 times about delivery on that day. Store kept saying on the way. Owner shows up with delivery at 6 pm. My new appliances were delivered on an old pull behind trailer. Owner said he would have a plumber friend call me about installing dishwasher. 3 days later, no call. Paid someone else to install. Horrible customer service for someone who just dropped a good chunk of change with Sears Hometown Stores. You've just lost a lifetime Sears customer, due to poor customer service. I will need to replace a refrigerator and stove soon, but will take my business elsewhere.

Terrible in every way. I purchased a washer and dryer on a Monday to be delivered on Thursday of the same week. The process took longer than it should have because of the computer system. I verbally gave my information four times, in addition to the clerk having my license. Thursday comes and I call them to inquire about a more precise delivery time only to be told that they left me a message about not coming due to rain. I never received a message. I was told they would come the next day and it was narrowed down to a one hour window. I took the following day off and when the window of time in which they were supposed to be there passed, I called the store. I was told that they attempted to deliver earlier and "they don't know how they got my Mother-in Law's address." I don't have a MIL and haven't for ten years. These people can't even get correct information after being told four times and holding my drivers license. So, they leave the wrong house, never call me (because they can't take down the correct phone number), and take my washer and dryer back to Greenwood and the driver goes home for the day. Then, I'm told that they can bring it the following week one day. Not happening. I got a washer and dryer elsewhere that same day and had it delivered the following day. I got a refund from this joke of a store but have yet to be refunded the separate amount that I had to pay for a delivery that I never received. I was told the owner would have to handle that but of course, it hasn't happened. Do not buy from this store unless you want a huge hassle.

They were very helpful and very much appreciated. Their products have something most big box stores just don't have. QUALITY ! My last Kenmore Microwave lasted 18 years , my brother had bought 3 from Big Box during that time and they were all junk. When mine finally quit , I did not hesitate to go back to Sears Hometown. Wonderful staff. Bought a refrigerator and dishwasher. Prices were excellent. They delivered to my house and installed quickly and professionally. The installers were very knowledgeable and efficient and did a perfect job. Highly recommend if you need any appliances.

The staff at this store are fantastic! John, who I believe is the owner, went above and beyond for me and my family! Our fridge we bought from home depot went out and they would not help us. I went to Sears and John made sure I was taken care of right away and even discounted my delivery! Thank you John. You have earned a customer for life!

This place is a joke, purchased a refrigerator was delivered damaged black stainless with dents in the door. Manager John lied to us on several occasions stating a new door was ordered, needless to say absolutely nothing was ever done about it. Also received the cold shoulder when we purchased the refrigerator because we declined the $600.00 warrenty. We tried contacting Sears directly and was told they can't do anything about it because it was purchased at a sears hometown store, something you might want to take into consideration when purchasing, if you have any issues Sears will not back you up.
