I have taken my dog to this vet for 3 years now, and absolutely love the vet and the techs. The tech I recently saw was very helpful and made sure my dog was comfortable while giving shots. The drs I have seen in the past were nothing but helpful especially whenever I was a new dog mom and had no idea what to do about skin irritations.
Some of the front desk ladies are beyond nice and helpful, but others are not. I get my dogs medication sent to the local pharmacy where I work just because itās easier for me to get it monthly plus I can pay for it with our gift cards. The front desk lady who checked me out the other day said that she would call it in as soon as she got a chance. Whenever I arrived to work today, there was no sign of anything being called in. I had one of my coworkers call up there to get the prescription so that we could order the medication and the lady on the phone stated that she had no documentation of any medication that was suppose to be called in. After my coworker explaining what she was told, I called up there myself and the lady snapped on me stating she had no documentation. I snapped back and said that I spent over $100 there yesterday and want my dogs medication called into the place that I ask and that I was told it would be done yesterday. (Mind you, we donāt keep dog medication on hand.. it has to be ordered and comes in a few days later). The lady asked in a rude tone what medication she was on and I stated it. And she said how much does the dog weigh and I said 49 pounds as of yesterday. (Once again āno documentā) after she said that she would call it in but it would be a little bit and hung up abruptly. 15 or so minutes later, she called up and gave the technician attitude while giving her these scripts. When my coworker asked the directions to put on the label, the lady snapped and said āuse as directed.ā And hung up. Working in a pharmacy, I understand that sometimes itās hard to remember every little thing someone asks you to do as they are walking out, but the way that I was spoken to and my coworker was spoken to twice is very very unprofessional. The same thing happened last year whenever I went to get her medication. Other than that I would give this vet 5 stars, but having this situation occur multiple times whenever she needs her flea and tick medicine/heart worm medicine is ridiculous. ~Shannon
