I have never been a fan of gyms until I started working out at this Anytime. The management and staff do a great job of keeping the gym clean and stay involved with their members. I started personal training with Kayla and my experience has been outstanding.

Be very careful signing up with this gym, the gym itself is decent, but don't try to cancel your membership. I recently changed jobs and no longer have an Anytime Fitness near me (Was going to the one right beside work). When I called to cancel, I was shocked to realize I was in a 2 year agreement not a 1 year agreement that I was originally told I was signing up for. I called to cancel was told I had to be 15 miles or more away in order to cancel. Told them no problem. I get a call back 10 minutes later saying it was 50 miles.

Great gym. Some of the equipment is a bit older, but they do have 2 squat racks with a couple of specialty bars and a deadlift platform. That also have a competition bench press. The management is also great; extremely fair and flexible. Definitely worth the money.

The facilities are very clean. The janitor is very diligent and keeps the place very clean. There are individual showers. The equipment is well maintained. The trainers are very involved. I use Natalie and sometimes get advice from Austin. They are both great. Natalie plans my workout around my goals and takes great care in making sure that I understand what I need to reach my goals. All the staff is very friendly and the owner is great! People at all levels frequent this facility. Nobody is judgmental and most people are focused on their own workout. There are classes that are more social otherwise people do focus on their workout. However, people are very friendly and the staff are always available for advice. This is a gym, everyone is welcome, let me know if you come. I will say hello

Be very careful signing up with this gym. When my mother passed away I had to move to Greer South Carolina for two months in order to handle her estate. I explained to them I would be in town for two months and they said they would not be a problem you can cancel anytime you like. Two months later I canceled my membership with them. The following month they charged me again so I called and they said they would handle it. Again the following month they charged me again so I called and spoke to management. Then they told me you live within 50 miles of an anytime fitness and cannot cancel your contract. And they were right I lived 38 miles from an anytime fitness but obviously I’m not driving 38 miles to go to the gym. I explains to them when I signed up you told me I can cancel anytime now you’re going back on your word. Once again they told me they would get it handled it and my membership would be canceled. So now four years later I find out that they have put $900 on my credit report. I have disputed it through the collection agency and Anytime Fitness says I still owe. Funny thing is I joined another anytime fitness in Florida two years ago and they said nothing about me owing them money I would’ve handled it right then but definitely not pay them because I don’t owe them. I have two gym memberships currently with golds gym and planet fitness. I assure you I will never be an anytime fitness member again and I will not pay this company not one penny because I do not owe it. If I owed it I would pay it no problem. Money is definitely not the issue it’s 100% the principle behind the lies!

For the size of the building this place is awesome. And the staff is extremely friendly, it's clean and they do whatever they can to accommodate you. All the complaints here is because people don't understand how to read contracts. Great gym! 👍

I’ve been a member at this Anytime Fitness since 2009. The gym has changed ownership multiple times over the last 12 years. The current owner, David, and his team have done an incredible job since taking over in 2020. Not only have they kept the gym clean and healthy, David has also invested in multiple upgrades/new pieces of equipment. He and his team always strive to create a great experience for their members. 10/10

The owner is cool, personable and seems truly invested. I don’t get same energy from staff really, which probably explains some of the complaints I read in reviews. If you like a variety of weights and equipment and are only there to lift and leave, this gym is solid (me). If you’re looking for a more welcoming experience where you interact with staff and feel like you belong, I’d try another Anytime. The rating is based on experiences at other Anytime’s. Also, others have mentioned cleanliness as a concern, and they have legitimate claims. Seems to be an issue of the size of gym versus the amount of cleaning staff, accompanied with a need for renovation, which seems like a tough task, if inherited in poor shape.
