Great food service one of nicest marinas on the lake

Since change of ownership, I have been very disappointed. High prices, poor service, so-so quality of food. Called the other night about closing time at 530. Closing is usually 800, but it had been raining. We were told they were slow and would close after 6 or 630 if no business. We said we would be right there. Arrived at 550, all tables were put up and manager stated they decided to close. This must have happened right after we told them we were coming. They have lost the local Norris Lake feeling, very corporate. Can only hope they will change.

Terrible management- called to reserve a party boat for my birthday back in April/May took all information down etc called to confirm today they no longer have the reservation as it had been given to someone else. This has happened twice now for the last couple of years. Disappointing to be excited for something and be continuously let down.

I always loved Sequoyah as a kid and I haven’t been there in a long time. We stopped in for supper and boy was that a mistake. The prices are out of bounds! I understand everything is high but 15.99 for a frozen cheeseburger? Come on guys. 12.99 for fried green tomatoes! The fries are frozen. I will say the toilets and sink where really nice as was the rest of the place. The service was well below par, she was friendly but extremely slow. It also took over an hour to get our food and we spent over and hour and a half there. We heard they had new owners and maybe they are trying to cater to those rich Yankees who love our beautiful lake so much. If your an average joe this place is a no go!

Food is decent, not the best and not the worst on the lake, and the waitstaff is solid. Parking is a nightmare. Nothing is labeled (how hard is it to buy a single banner??) on either side of the marina. Since nothing is labeled, you are forced to simply guess. I grabbed an unlabeled, open slip to the immediate right of the marina and then went directly to a staff member to ask if it was alright that I parked there. The staff member said I was fine and that I had guessed correctly—customer parking for the restaurant is to the right of the marina. Perfect! At the end of lunch my boat was towed to the fuel island. The dockhands at the fuel island stated that I was parked in a reserved slip. I asked where I was supposed to park if not to the right of the marina, and the dockhands, both of them, informed me that there is no customer parking. I then asked why the other staff member would tell me something absolutely opposite, and the dockworker did not respond. He uttered no verbal response. Nothing. So... Honestly, a big, busy marina like Sequoyah having 0 parking for customers seems illogical. Idiotic. I suppose that is how they run their operation.

It has been a while since we visited, stopped for gas and lunch. Plenty of space for multiple boats which is good so you don't have to wait long to fill up. Homemade pesto on sandwich was good, ask for extra. Onion rings were large and plenty of everything for a to-go box. Service team friendly and accommodating, good food and decent pricing overall.

Beautiful marina with beautiful views. Actual marina closes very early and makes it very inconvenient should you need anything.

I am so thankful someone recommended Sequoyah Marina for our wedding venue! We couldn't have picked a better place for our special day. Not only were KJ and her crew welcoming, helpful, and PATIENT with us from the first day of planning right to the end of the Big Night, everything from the view to the general atmosphere made it more perfect that I ever imagined. Thank you, KJ, Katie, and all of the others who helped me have the wedding I always dreamed of!
