Update: if I wanted "Lowes" tier help, I would go to Lowe's. If i wanted to be told, "what we have is on the shelf." I would go to a Dollar General store but apparently that's a suitable answer at SW now. The employees are always extremely knowledgeable on paint and are always very friendly. I can call them and they'll usually have my paint ready in 20 mins or less.

I did not have a great experience here. The people were very nice, but told me a gallon would be cheaper than a quart (because of a "paint shortage"). Only after the paint was mixed and I was paying did it become evident that this was not true -- I was charged $7 more for each gallon than a quart would have cost, despite discussing at length beforehand that I did not need a whole gallon of each paint and wanted the cheapest option. Also, the finish of my custom mix did not match (it was glossier), though they claimed to have painted on the sample I brought in and it was not visible. Given the price switch, I find myself wondering if they actually painted on it. I had a much better experience with Farrell-Calhoun, just down the street. Perfect matches, professional and honest staff, and the quarts were cheaper.
