Casey in the pharmacy is the best. If they are out of the medicine he calls around and finds it for me. He knows his customers by name and is always polite.

If I could give no star I would. Not just this cvs but all of them. They are understaffed. Have been for years. When you call and need to speak to the pharmacist, good luck . You will have to go through a dozen promps first. Need them to fax your doctor about something, hope it's no needed soon because it will be days before they get around to it if ever.

The parking lot and the trash cans outside the store are disgusting. This is not a location I normally shop at and probably won’t again.

Been here twice, once for a drive thru prescription after 9pm and an in-store prescription near 3am. Both times the staff were helpful and polite. I don't go more because there are closer CVS's by me for normal pharmacy hours.

We have a grandson which was diagnosed with the flu last night at Children’s. It was a 3.5-4 hour wait for medical attention due to the high number of patients, we checked every hospital and the Little Clinic as well and saw the same wait every where. I drove to the Minute Clinic on Emory Road in Powell and saw there was no waiting, no patients and was actually open for another two hours so I started checking my grandson in at their kiosk when one of the two women talking in one of the exam rooms came out and ask if we had appointment, after telling her no she proceeded to tell me by appointment only but I couldn’t make one standing there. When I pointed out there was NO ONE waiting to be seen she explained they were taking a break. So we left even though his temp was over 104 and waited the 3.5 hours at Children’s. Will not be back there.

I’m not sure why this place has a 3 star rating - best CVS location in the Knoxville area I’ve ever been to. All staff are excellent, including the pharmacy, which is saying something considering it’s a 24/he location to have continuously excellent customer service. Everything I’ve ever needed is always in-stock and refill requests are completed promptly. Excellent pharmacists. Ignore the other reviews, they’re sleeping on this fantastic CVS location. Never had a less than 8/10 experience in the 3+ years this has been my primary location.

My husband uses this Pharmcy for his prescriptions. I went in one day for him. I was so impressed with their customer service and the friendly, polite employees, I had my prescriptions transferred here from Kroger. Thank you, great job!!!

It was 3:00 in the morning and I had tried so many other places that stated to be open 24 hours.I finally found this location to be open. I really needed Tylenol for my toddler. I called the store to make sure it was actually open and Amy answered. She was incredibly kind and even offered to assist me through the drive thru once I got there. I am very pleased with how accommodating and friendly she was during an urgent moment.

This review is more in reference to our experience with the Pharmacy as well as CVS corporate. CVS has become predatory in pushing customers and doctors into 90 day refills on prescriptions. While some individuals could benefit from this there are so many who cannot. Individuals who are on antibiotics prescribed only for 30 days (or less) are having refills called in and filled because CVS has gone to calling doctors offices and lucking in to someone not catching them and agreeing to a refill when it may not be needed. In my husbands case he is on a 90 prescription and was called asking if he agreed to 90 day refills on all future prescriptions through CVS. He said he understood he was on a 90 day for a specific prescription and was okay with that. The caller (called us out of Powell, TN) then stated "great, then we will put you on 90 day refill for all future prescriptions as well!" and went to end the call. My husband stopped him and said "no, I do not want that, do not do that to my account" and he said he would not. Decisions like this need to be left to the patient and their doctor and not pushed by the pharmacy. It's completely unethical.

Not only is the pharmacy staff incredibly rude but also incredibly slow. Last time I was in line to pick up a prescription for over 30 minutes. I have also asked multiple times for them to stop calling me. I received 4 calls today with the same automated message about ordering my next prescription when I just picked up the prescription last week. If it wasn’t for my insurance forcing me to get medicine here I would never step foot in any CVS.
