I frequent this Bargain Hunt and always have a fine experience. I can tell some reviewers here don’t understand the concept of a BARGAIN store. The store doesn’t have set stock or anything like that, they just get what they get, and you have to walk around and look/find things you want, hence the store name - “bargain hunting.” I’m not the kind of person who needs a store employee to hold my hand throughout my shopping trip, so, I don’t have a hard time here. When I go to check out, everyone is always friendly and talkative, and that’s all that matters.

I ain't going to lie, I like this hidden gem of a store. Pretty cheap prices for pretty cheap stuff. My wife will get stuck in bargain hut for hours and hours especially if I don't say "hey babe, it's been like 2 and a half hours, are you ready to go or should I pitch a tent and gather up some fire wood.? Maybe roast some marshmallows?" I'll be stuck twiddling my thumbs hoping to my Higher Power she's not spending my whole paycheck on stuff we don't need.

First of all I am a former employee. I was walking around the store shopping for my 3y/o when I stopped to asked who I believe is named Patty/Patsy idk for sizing in a toddler sized jacket that was in the little boys section. After looking further I found the 3T section for girls which has been placed under the main baby rack. I picked up a few options and proceeded to search the store for other items. Miss Patty who was working in apparel took it upon herself to find me around the corner in shoes, then in bags, and then in linen. That’s when I realized…I’m being followed now for what reason you would have to ask her. Surely she wasn’t following the girl who had her job name emblemed on her jacket because she thought she was stealing but after her JUMPING from behind the baby rack to “catch me putting the items I decided not to get back” I understood EXACTLY what she was doing. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me in this store. Prior was by Miss Janice who told another employee that she had caught me stealing in the store also, a lie.I have never needed to steal anything from BARGAIN HUNT. I thought after they’d gotten rid of Darryl that the store would’ve gotten a bit better it’s def cleaner but I see tolerance training isn’t part of training still. I purchased the items I picked up after leaving to go get my bank card from WORK. But rest assured, I WILL NOT BE BACK

The store obviously has new management because everything was organized and in place. New items on the shelves were easy to find and clearance items are separated as well. There is a better selection of household items like comforter sets, curtains, rugs, throw pillows, etc. Will definitely shop again.

This place is usually a hit or miss but you can always find some good deals here, just be sure if you are buying anything to make sure all the pieces are there, bargain hunt is usually customers returns from different stores so be sure to check and keep your receipt just incase your missing a piece for what u bought
