Did not like my soup so I didn’t eat it my waitress still charged me for it…my pasta was dry ask for more sauce also got charged ….. I don’t plan on returning

My wife and I really enjoy the service and food at Johnny Carino’s. We prefer it over Olive Garden. Our last visit to Johnny Carino’s was in Austin and they didn’t disappoint. Our server was Amy. She was very kind and courteous. A real professional who made sure that our enjoyment was her first priority. I recommend anyone in the Austin area to stop by and enjoy a good meal and great service.

Have not been to Johnny Carinos in 5 years since the one in San Marcos unfortunately shut down. It was my favorite restaurant. We had Adrian as our server & he was so helpful with everything we needed. And everything tasted just like it did 5 years ago!! Oil with bread & Raspberry Italian cream soda are the best and what make the business unique!

My girlfriend took me here for date night tonight. It’s one of the few places with a large enough dining room that you can actually get in on a Friday or Saturday night without waiting for an hour. Adrian was our server he actually saw us waiting at the entrance, seated us right away and immediately took our drink orders. He continued to provide excellent service throughout our evening. He was very personable and friendly. The food was decent, the Italian nachos were a bit cold, but flavorful, the spicy Romano chicken was delicious. The service was was the best part of the evening. We ordered in person because online was adding an additional charge for some reason so be sure to watch out for that ($12 additional to the tax and packaging fee). We order Monday night with the half price family meal and got the chicken parmigiana, calamari, and extra bread to go. It was so good. The bread is delightful and the perfect crispy. I had to toss the calamari and the chicken in the air fryer but that’s to be expected unless you get it fresh from the oven. After a quick 5 minutes they were both so good. The Marinara sauce was great as well. Definitely going back and definitely worth the price.

The bar tender at this location on South Park. She I bet hate her job. Poor horrible service. This is my 3 time coming here last 2 weeks, and she always have bad attitude. I do not recommend this place.

I haven't eaten at Johnny Carinos in a while, since they closed the one close to me. And it was a huge disappointment. While I was waiting to pick up my to go order, which was behind, like a couple of other people that were waiting before me, a phone call came in saying that they hadn't gotten their order right. This led me to pull everything out of my bag to make sure they had it all. They did not. And they didn't have something at all that I had ordered, and the substitution was unacceptable. I have to say when you walk in, it looks like it's not managed very well, nothing like it used to be. To top it all off, my daughter ordered fried ravioli (supposedly with cheese on the inside) and my picture says it all. I won't be back and I suggest you stay away as well. **edit - since I already spoke to the manager in the store without any positive resolution before I posted my review, I won't be calling the manager again expecting anything different. I stand by my original statements that you shouldn't eat here. You can find really good Italian food at many different places, no need to give this place your business.

This place had ok food. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the server/waitress told us that a special was available than later the manager had to tell us it was not available. Then,later the manager came back and said they ran out of steak for the special she offered us. So,she said we could have the first special that was not available. So,we ended up waiting to get answers and food for too long. At least we had our appetizers.

Good customer service great appetizers and great food. We had the 23.00 person dinner which includes two entrees and salad for two and dessert. We were very satisfied I give Johhnny Carino's A+

Food Was Amazing! Big show out to Annaliese for serving us. Wait time wasn't as bad. Just big heads up, it's cold outside as of today so recommend, do not sit by the doors the cold breeze will get y'all. But other then that, great job y'all! Will come back again soon!
