The food is always good. It has a large variety of foods. I had the chicken fried steak. Fiest time. Handmade but extremely salty. They said they would adjust it.

Great Restaurant in Batesville, Texas. We stopped on our way back to San Antonio. Staff was courteous, got served right away. Had a hamburger with fries, husband had a BLT with tater tots. I like my food served hot which it was. Burger was great. Would come back

This place is exceptionally good. It may not look like much outside but the food is good. Friendly service and the locals that eat there are just as friendly. The burgers are the bomb! These are real beef patties and not any of those frozen pre-made you get at a grocery store. They toast their burger buns with a little grease and it is heaven. I stop by occasionally when driving through Batesville and when I don’t have time to eat I’ll grab a tea and some of their homemade tortillas. They have new clean restrooms by the way.

A sure stopper every time we go to kickapoo. Love their nachos especiales. Great service.

If you're ever coming back from eagle pass and going through 57 stop at that restaurant Desi's great food great prices I'll be back

Delicious only problem was the food was not hot I called the waitress she sent it back ty for that but cook didn't seem to like it who wants cold food for 30 dollars food was still cold

Don't judge the book by its cover! Food was very flavorful and filling, the waitresses were attentive. Would definitely recommend, i most likely would go again when in town.

Order the fish plate it’s huge. We had to wait a bit for our food we watched people come in eat and leave before we got our food. Other than that give it a try if you are driving through like me.
