Great dinner upon arriving in town! Loved the view and had the best waitress ever!

Very disappointed in the overall service and food. We were seated for 20 minutes and never did have a wait person come to acknowledge us. I had to go up and let the hostess know we still had not been waited on and asked her to send someone over to our table. Finally someone came to take our order but from the time we were seated it took 30 minutes just to get our drink and food order and we ended up with another server after our order was taken. Our drinks and food did come out in a timely fashion however the fried seafood platter was way over cooked and the stuffed shrimp was extremely salty. On a good note the pecan crusted salmon was good, albeit pricey. After we were finished, it took a very long time to get our bill and then for the waitress to get us paid out. I did not like your tipping system at all, having the wait person bring a computer tablet to you, after receiving your paper receipt, then asking what percentage you want to tip. If you didn't select one fast enough it timed out so she had to bring out another hand held device asking me to type in the dollar amount I wanted to tip. Customers should not be put on the spot about tipping. I have always been a good tipper but for me, it should be reflective of the overall service, quality of food and price to determine the amount of tip to include on the food receipt that is brought to us, not on a computerized tablet brought out by your wait person, asking you to pick a tip percentage. Though I was only going to give a 1 star rating, I chose 2 because once we did get the wait person assigned to our table, she did her best but it was obvious she has not been well trained on how to wait tables. It seemed like she was all over the floor serving customers, not allowing her to efficiently serve her customers. I understand that it is the busy season, but in summary, we had a very dissatisfied evening with service, food and pricing as we were there to celebrate our granddaughters 21st birthday. I hope things improve at your establishment as we have been there several times but your current operation and food preparation are not reflective of the better times that we have been there in the past.

Had one of the most bizarre dining experiences of my life here. If I was the owner of this place I’d be extremely concerned… We started by trying to order ceviche toast, and they were out. We then tried to order the shrimp cocktail, they were out. Then we tried to order ranch with my son’s chicken nuggets, and they were out. Not to mention the wait was atrocious… we were one of the only people there eating and it took over a hour for the appetizers and another hour for the main course. Horrible place. Do not recommend.

The food was delicious and our server, Nikki, was friendly, fast, and efficient. We ordered fried shrimp with fries, Baja tacos, blackened snapper with jalapeño grits, and beer battered shrimp with honey-ginger vegetables. Each meal came with coleslaw or salad upgrade. 3 of us chose coleslaw, 1 chose salad. The coleslaw was delicious. I don’t typically like a lot of sauce, and the 13-year old twin daughters are not usually big coleslaw fans. However, it was so good even they scarfed it down. The reviews for each dish: Blackened Snapper with Jalapeño Grits - really good - not over-spiced - beautiful - perfectly done - fresh - grits were some of the best grits I’ve ever had Beer Battered Gulf Shrimp - delicious - seasoned just right - fresh shrimp Baja Shrimp Tacos - good - didn’t like slaw - mangoes a little hard - 10/10 - chef’s kiss Fried Gulf Shrimp - 8/10 - zesty fries were not zesty Bananas Foster Cheesecake - holy deliciousness - pairs great with the piña colada, alcohol free version - 10/10 would recommend

The food was awesome, and the service was great. Our waitress was a sweetheart and very accommodating. The only problem I had was a Rounding charge on my recite. When asked what it was for, we were told it went to kitchen needs.

So, arriving late I text the Air BB host, and ask where we could get food late. He told us Steve’s Landing, so we walked in with only an hour to spare. I most say, I have traveled to all 50 states and a couple countries. This place is amazing! The best blackened chicken with Mango Salsa I have ever had. There were four of us in the party and there was NO ONE that had anything negative to say! This place is wonderful! The staff, the food and the decor!

Steve's Landing Restaurant is right on the water and really a lovely space!! I dined at night and it was cold so I couldn't see much of the water while dining but I did see a big boat glide by from my booth. The restaurant has large open windows to take in the view, gray washed wood plank floors and large, gorgeous filament lighting. The effect is spacious and warm. The posts are large palm trees and the walls are stacked log. My server Nicky are extremely friendly, very attentive. She did an amazing job!! 👏 I ordered some red wine and inhaled my water, she was quick to refill. For a started I got the crab stuffed jalapenos, served with ranch. Good flavor but the crab taste was a bit lost with the strong jalapeno taste. Still good, though. I was wavering between the Tikka shrimp and jalapeno grits and the crab cakes, Nicky strongly recommended the shrimp and grits. It was served and looked gorgeous, my only criticism is that the shrimp had the tails on. The Tikka sauce was amazing! It was rather thick so it was hard to gauge where the tails are to take off. I got a few bites of tails, not so great. The jalapeno grits were creamy and a total dream. I mentioned to Nikki I did restraunt reviews, I was honored that they sent out a bacon wrapped app they are considering and requested my feedback. I ordered banana foster cheesecake to go, looking forward to enjoying that later. Total 5 of 5 dining experience. 👏 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Seriously amazing food! Service was spectacular and the outside dinning had beautiful water front views. You can definitely taste the scratch made difference!!! Calamari was super awesome, best we have ever had and we always order it as an appetizer when we have the option.
