Too many employees are on methamphetamine and it's sad....I am in deep prayer for the town....I'm glad I moved away...7th street had high standards years ago...simply drug testing employees could save them from themselves...sorry to post but everyone knows in town...

Visited a friend and ate here. I had the chicken fried chicken with fried okra and corn nuggets. Everyone else had the unlimited fried catfish/shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Sorry, no photos this time.

They let us down this visit even though they were given warning to the size of the group that could show up We had a large group of people that were in town for a funeral And it took forever to get someone to take our order then when I got my order it took two times to get what I ordered and it was cold ❄️ when I finally got it Then it took a long time to get my bill so I could pay and leave. We were there almost 2@1/2 hours.

Found this little jewel on our way back from Nacogdoches. Jamie was our server and was sweet and did a great job. We were the second customers in and asked to sit outside and she said absolutely. Met Jerry, the owner and he was equally nice. We will definitely be back

Food was delicious and very filling. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would DEFINITELY recommend trying this place out. It's a quaint and adorable little restaurant with a huge menu selection. DEFINITELY will be back and going to try the steak next time. Chicken fried steak, burgers and the fried green beans were amazingly delicious.

This was our first time here. We went with a group. We had the All you can eat Fish.. you won't he disappointed! The Nana pudding 🍮 was a great finish. The beer was ice cold and the service was impeccable. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor. We will definitely be back to this little gem in the woods!

Each year when working for the town of Cushing I get the privilege of eating at this wonderful Small Town restaurant. The staff service and food is always second to none with great lunch specials. Yesterday was King Ranch chicken but forgot to take pictures and review but it was very good too... Now about this wonderful fish dinner. All I can say is wow... It was all fresh, nothing tasted Frozen or greasy. From the beans to some of the best coleslaw ever, fresh cut fries, tasty Colden hushpuppys but most of all it was good fish. Not fatty like many places now days and not salty. Everything was... Well as good as it can be. I wish it was an hour closer cause I'd be here a couple of times a month or more. If you live within an hour... It's worth the drive. This is a hidden gem in small town Texas.

Such a sweet little cafe! The food is amazing, and the staff are incredibly nice. The chicken fried steak is HUGE!! The onion rings are hand breaded, and are delicious! The servings are big enough to share. Save room for dessert, the pie is soooo good!! There is live music on Saturdays, and they have a little bar upstairs. We will definitely be back!!
