Second time was not the charm, apparently.. This experience refers to the second time I went to Town House, the first time we weren’t acknowledged and the hostess sat people who had arrived later ahead of us with no explanation. We should’ve taken it as a sign to never come back, but the menu looked good so we tried again. Sunday we went and were seated within just a few minutes of arriving. We were given one menu to share. The hostess didn’t smile or welcome us or even speak to us other than saying, "How many?" and “Here,” when showing us what table to sit at. We were told by our server that she should have gotten us started with drinks. He was very nice and got us coffees and took our order. We ordered the Papas Locas as an appetizer, the Townhouse Eggs and the Town House Migas. TWENTY MINUTES PASSED and our server explained they were short staffed but our appetizer would be out shortly. It was, and it was okay, too salty and the fries were not crispy. Another ten minutes and our breakfasts arrived, but they didn’t look good. My toast didn’t make it to the table, the server said he would check but no toast was ever brought for me. The eggs were undercooked (asked for over medium) and dark like they were cooked on a dirty grill top. The hashbrowns were overcooked and dry on both plates. My partner's eggs Migas looked messy and he complained they were greasy. Since this was our first time eating here we didn’t know that they don’t give you a check at your table, you have to pay at the register - at least that's what we ended up doing because, like I said, we didn't know. After our food was dropped off our server didn't come back to check on us. We went to the front counter only to wait another few minutes for service at the register. For what we got that was way overpriced. It’s diner food, not even good diner food. This place is not worth the time or money, I won’t be returning.

Food was awful asked for medium rare was well done rice and beans we’re over seasoned and taste was awful for the price of meal’s was outrageous. Appetizer was overcooked . Service was ok . This was first time eating there will never go again. None of the three meals were good .

Went to Town house today because the place I wanted to eat at is closed on Sunday. I arrived at 10:58 and was seated as soon as I walked in the door, at 11:27 a waitress stopped and asked if my order had been taken I replied no she took my order. (I was giving them 3 more minutes before I left) I ordered 3 beef enchiladas that came with rice, refried beans,chips and salsa. My food came out at 11:52 . The rice was cold, beans were kind of warm the enchiladas were cold on the inside outside maybe room temperature outside. I had to walk out after paying full price. There were no more than 15 people in the whole building. On my do not go to list...

Wow! What Happened? Food is awesome if you can get it! I waited 45 minutes for a burrito and quesadilla. I only got the quesadilla and it was extremely skimpy! I also see that they are connected to Jacks Steakhouse, won’t be dining there either if this is how they do business.

I just came from a powerlifting meet here in Uvalde with my son's school from Crystal City ... Extra hungry and the food came out Delicious great job people

The food is delicious and the customer service is great. I recommend it to anyone who loves home style cooking. The pepper steak is delicious.

Really calm atmosphere, service was great, our waitor Mario did an excellent job on tending to our table. Our food was tasty and had that different taste we were looking for.
