Had breakfast for the first time at La Estacion Bakery. Place is clean, staff was very courteous and attentive. Wait staff was on top of coffee refills. Ordered migas a la mexicana. They were ok flavor wise. Coffee was great. Took pan dulce...the portions are quite big and on the higher end price wise Food : 3/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 … More

This place is a cross between a bakery and a breakfast/lunch place. But it misses on both ends. The place is usually busy...we sat down and were attended right away. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, chilaquiles...my mother-in-law had grilled chicken breast. The biggest issue here was the timing of the food...they took a while that by the time my food arrived, it was lukewarm. The biscuits were Mexican style biscuits, which is fine, but it's flavor didn't blend well with the gravy. The gravy wasn't thick nor savory as you can see in the picture. It was also quite huge, the biscuit...but for that much biscuit you need a good thick gravy to accompany it...which it didn't have. The chilaquiles were lukewarm. IF they had been nice and piping hot, I probably would've enjoyed them, but they were lukewarm at best. My opinion is that held them back because of the grilled chicken breast... wrong choice. Another issue with this place is the bakery itself. They have rolling doors on the displays where they have their bread options...half the doors were open halfway, so any fly could land on their donuts/empanadas. I told one of th waitresses about it ..that the rolling doors were open. The waitress went and closed it but the door rolled open slightly on its own...the bread itself is actually quite nice. They have a good selection of coffee conchas, empanadas, cookies...etc. Just keep in mind that a few flies probably landed on them already. The prices here are decent...and the portions are good. But you will find better chilaquiles and biscuits elsewhere.

Wow! The “huevos estila la estación” are AMAZING! The eggs we cooked over easy served on top of a quesadilla with ham and covered with the best molé sauce I’ve ever had in the RGV area. Even the coffee was good, not bitter. The restaurant was clean. Staff was very attentive

We have come here about 4 or 5 times and this place never disappoints. The enchilada suizas and enchilada Mole are fantastic. Bernardo was our server we arrived at 1:45 pm they close at 2 pm. Bernardo served us without skipping a beat. Very gracious and polite. We didn't get sweet bread today but I highly recommend you do. The bakery selection is great and one bread with a cup of coffee will fill you up. Thank you Bernardo for serving us

Food was very good! The Cafe lechero is so creamy. If you are asked if you want cream in your Latte pass, it's homemade so it has a lot of fat/lard.

Not the best Mexican breakfast in the area. However, we were satisfied. The coffee was good. Our breakfast plate servings were large. Food lacked the taste we get from an authentic Mexican dish. Large space, plenty of seating. Very clean place too

Don’t even bother ordering here . Literally ordered enchiladas 2 plates and the tortilla was horrible not even a full plate . Called to let them know didn’t even care what I had to say just put me on hold w no notice . The previous order I did Was a chile relleno w meat and they just trew the meat on top of the chile relleno . Like who does that ?

Food was good. A little overpriced but overall it was delicious. I’d like to go back and try their breakfast. I do recommend this place (N. 10th location)

I was extremely disappointed with the appearance of my main course and to top it off I was over charged. They lady had already charged my credit card as she then told me my total. They refunded me the $13.49 after they went to talk to the waitress but clearly if she looked at the bill ,how is it possible for them to charge me 3 Agua frescas ,1 regular coffee,1 Diet Coke ,and 1 café lechero and only two plates 😡😡😡 I felt like the cashier believed I was lying and went to verify with the waitress. She didn’t even apologize or said anything when we left very unprofessional.
