Busy day during the antique show, service did not waiver. Incredible environment AMAZINGGGG food! Waiter was very attentive. 13/10 recommend!! If you are driving through stop by! You will not be disappointed

Service was poor and unprofessional. We were told upon arrival how backed up the kitchen was and not to expect food soon. We then waited for over 15 minutes for a drink…while we sat at the bar. My fried chicken was burnt while my friends was burnt and raw inside. We watched while numerous guests were turned away, stating there was not enough seating. Potential customers questioned the visibly open tables. The rest of our visit for the antique weekend was charming, but this simply a disappointment.

Stopped in for quit bite on the way back from Austin. Had the queso for started and it was so good! The burger was done to perfection. Everything was so fresh and top quality. Definitely would recommend ans will be back!

I went here for a girls night last night and had the WORST experience! I ordered fried catfish that was not cooked at all and an old fashion that tasted like they put cheap sweet whiskey in it instead of a proper whiskey or bourbon. Not only was the food and drink awful. But the service was bad too. When we tried to flag down our waitress to let her know about my undercooked food, it took us nearly ten minutes! Everyone was in the back kitchen talking and not doing their job. The cook came out but hung out by a corner and looking around to see who called out his food. He never came up to me to apologize or asked how I was feeling after consuming his raw dish. I never even got a manager to our table. They did comp my meal, which I’m appreciative of. However, I wish someone of authority would have spoken to me. And I also would have preferred if I got my exact change back and not the rounded up version of it. Needless to say, I will never be back here.

Updating my review again. They have definitely made more of an effort in executing the menu over the past year. Absolutely solid burger, best in town! Fries are good esp sweet potato. Grits are great as well. The tortilla crusted chicken is wonderful.

Tasty food, attentive server, wonderful patio with music playing, and the prices are spot on with the amount of food you get. We got the Ridiculous Chicken Sandwich (pictured), Piled High Frito Pie (pictured) and the chicken tenders. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. We will definitely return. Tip: if you’re a light eater, you could easily share the entrees.

Waitress we had was slow talked a lot instead of helping diners. Service kept this place from getting four stars. But if your in Round Top give it a try not many options in this town.

There are very few options available at Round Top. This was a very nicely decorated and clean tavern. There was a solo artist playing guitar and singing which was nice. It wasn't too loud and he had a really pleasant voice to listen to. The food was well presented and tasty. The peach cobbler was rather odd though. Would have preferred it to have had some kind of pastry. It was more like a peach stew. Rather unusual and wouldn't order again. The wait staff were sweet and attentive.
