Used to be great! Customer service has went in the hole here. Stood around 10 min at cafe to place order and employees stared at me while I stood the waiting for a employee to take my order. Sad sad

I've been going here every 2 days for the past 3 years. Had to tolerate the revolving door of idiots most of the long time employees are cool enough but they have an older female that was straight up rude, belittling, and arrogant. They are a super busy location with the mall across the street. Nevertheless today was the last time I'll set foot on their property.

One of the dirtiest stores I have been to. They never have any burritos when I go. I've tried different times of the day and week. Nothing! When they run low, they never think to make more. They just never have what I want. I've never had this problem with other stores.

Stripes is the spot for tacos, not this one. Do not stop here, go to Bill Miller next door. The tortillas are thick and under cooked, eggs are rubbery, and potatoes are not cooked through. Friendly staff, terrible taco team!

I came in for or 2 tacos but although the employee was nice the tortillas where not my tortillas where dry and hard I'm not able to eat it while driving and have taco filling fall all over me. Please make fresh tortillas for your customers unless they ask for a crispy tortilla. Even if the tortillas have been sitting in your plastic tortilla warmer make them a new tortilla they get dry the longer they sit out!

The serving line was a mess, nearly empty, and clearly not fresh by any stretch of the imagination as was the condiment bar. The staff was rude and unprofessional in a way that I've never experienced at a Stripes or Laredo Taco Company in the past and even the cashier was completely out of line. All I did was remind her after I paid that I was still waiting on my bean and cheese tacos as I watched the girls behind the counter carry on a conversation with a group of construction workers that weren't even in line. The cashier completely ignored me and called for the next person in line. I recently moved to San Marcos from Houston where stripes breakfast tacos were a part of my morning routine 5 days a week for over 5 years. After sharing my experience with my neighbor he explained to me that most of the locals have had similar experiences with that location and encouraged me to try Paco Loco down the street. Goodbye Stripes!

Worst tacos I’ve ever had. I could barely chew through the tortilla. Also they were cleaning the glass OVER the food. Worried about taking pictures to send to their boss rather than producing good food. Showed employee the rock hard tortilla and no offer to replace it or anything. Don’t waste your money here if your actually hungry because you’ll throw away most of it.

On the way to the Rio Grand Valley and decided to stop here for breakfast tacos. Worst tacos ever! Dont waste your time getting food here. the tacos are small and the food has no flavor. Wait till you get to the valley for tacos. totally worth it. 😁
