I bought my truck here on July 3rd of 2019. People were very nice and the mechanic was a great man. All staff have a good heart at d&l and they value honesty within there sales. The truck I purchased was a 2006 f-150 5 spd manuel , and it has been phenomenal. Don was honest with me when I was going to purchase it about the main seal leak and he came down on the price for me, and the ignition coil had a crack in it (which wasn’t realized until I drove it in the rain and water got inside and the truck had a seizure) and I immediately called d&l. Don stated he was not aware of the issue most likely because it wasn’t within view to the naked eye and immediately that day had a new coil pack ordered to his dealership, and installed by his mechanic on the spot within 15 minutes free of charge. There’s needs to be more pre owned dealerships like the one Don is running and thanks to Don and Bonnie, I have been able to get to work and home reliably for the last year and a half. Thank you guys so much for everything and I highly highly recommend visiting them if you are in the market for a used vehicle.

Just bought an older Ford Ranger pick up that was in great shape with low miles today from D&L. The staff and owners are AMAZING!! They worked with us to get in that truck for cash with no financing/payments. The way they do business is full of integrity and the fact they've been selling used cars in the Dallas area for 30 years speaks volumes as to how they treat their customers. I can honestly say we'd buy a used car from them again. If you're on the market for something reliable and want to do business with folks who are trustworthy, it's definitely worth your time to go to D&L in Sanger. You won't be disappointed! They even stayed late so we could sign paperwork and close the deal. Thanks again D&L!!

Great people to work with. Have been waiting on my taxes to decide about buying it. Ed would called me a couple of times to make sure I was still interested but did not push.

They were great and all that they told me was true. Very easy financing. Don was fantastic I had a couple of minor problems after the sale but don did just like he said he took care of his customer. He not only paid for the parts but a mechanic as well. I really couldn't believe it I thought it was gonna be a real problem but it wasn't at all. Don and his wife are really good people. If you have credit challenges or just want a reputable dealer go see or call D & L Vehicle Sales

D & L Vehicle sales, Inc. is a great place to do business with. Actually the best place I've bought a vehicle from. Great rates and terms, friendly people that treat you like a person rather than just another customer to make money off of. I've been late before on payments like many people are sometimes but they never called and harassed me. They treated me as the great customer they felt I was. I will definitely come back when I'm in the market again for another vehicle. I would recommend anyone to look here first before going anywhere else.

My mother asked me to leave this review at the end of July and i hadnt gotten around to it until now. I honestly had forgotten until a buddy of mine was complaining about how crooked the people at D & L Auto are. So i figured id go ahead and take care of this now since its long over do. We all know that alot of these used car delears are lying scammers anyway but the owner of this place takes the cake. The car they tried to sell my mother and friend 3 months apart were both overpriced, dirty and had numerous problems the owner tried to either hide or brush off as small issues that can be easily and cheaply fixed. When my mother didnt want to buy it right away his entire attitude changed and basically walked away on her. My buddy had similar issues. Not just with the owner but also the old lady who works up front... i think she may be the secretary or something i dont know... all i know is shes rude. These people dont like customers asking questions because they know the vehicles have issues. Only lot ive ever heard about that refused to let someone test drive the car unless they agreed to buy it... isnt that the point of a test drive? To make sure it runs good so you can decide if you want to buy it or not? Anyway i hate to complain but i figured it was only right to warn people about con artists and scammers. Not everyone has money to just throw away.

I rarely will go into a dealership, but I wanted a Toyota Avalon and there were very few choices in DFW in my price range. I drove 15 minutes North of Denton to Sanger to D&L to see an Avalon on their lot. This isn't a "slick" place where you are going to go into a sales funnel or where you where you are going to need to "sign in" - it's just a husband and wife team with a small staff and a nice normal office and lot. I saw one bad review about not getting a call back, but I think I would prefer to work with a smaller place like this where I imagine things like that can happen (I've made the mistake of giving a dealer my phone number and a bot texts me for week to come in and get to know my life story so they can pick a car that fits me). The Avalon needed some TLC (tires / windshield) so the price was the lowest I had seen in DFW. Ed was super nice and non-pushy and let my wife and I take it on a long test drive. We liked the car and were talking with the owner on price. When I asked how much he thought a windshield was, Don (the owner) said he could have his guy come out and do it at wholesale cost ($110) if I was buying the car. I left a deposit on Tuesday and came back Wednesday to finish the transaction and the windshield was already done. I would recommend D&L to anyone, especially if you are averse to the stereotypical dealer experience. One small bonus: There is a great Mexican restaurant (Miguelito's) about 200 yards up the road from D&L. We celebrated our purchase with some chips and salsa.

Wow! My family has bought 2 cars from this dealership within a week. I got a 2006 Toyota Tundra. Amazing truck at a great price. The owner is Don and he is a great guy. I will definitely be coming back for my next car some day.

I recently spotted a 2006 GMC Savana Extended length Hi top Van on the internet. I tried calling them several times and never got a call back. I finally told Bonnie, the owners wife, "you sure don't want to sell that van very bad". She laughed saying how busy they were. I indicated it was no laughing matter and if they wanted to sell it, I wanted a call back from the owner pronto!! About an hour later the owner Don called me back. I asked him the condition of the van, and was told it was in great shape and ran great, strong engine. We discussed a trade for my 04 Chevy Astro and some cash and the deal was set. Don was supposed to call me back and tell me if the AC was charged, even though the ad said "cold air". I would have left early in the morning to avoid traffic, again, he never called back. I called them at 10:30 AM the next morning, and once again Bonnie thought it was funny. This delay is why I encountered DALLAS rush hour traffic both ways. I did make a wrong turn near the car lot and Bonnie came over and led me to their lot. This is pretty much the only positive part of my buying experience with D&L. When I arrive Don was conveniently "sick" and nowhere around to ask questions and Bonnie knows nothing about cars. I was told "the steering is a bit loose", that was a gross understatement. The power steering gearbox had leaked all the fluid out before I ever made it to the Oklahoma state line, and I had to put more power steering fluid in every 100 miles. The van wandered all over the highway, it was hard to keep it pointed straight. After having my mechanic look at it, he said he was surprised it made it back to Kansas without the front end falling out. I have spent $750 in parts and nearly that much in labor to get the front end repaired. I was also told it had "bad gas" and that's why it ran rough. The diagnostic we ran on it shows 6 error codes, bad gas was the least of the worries. It appears I have another several hundred dollars worth of work that need to be done to make this van even close to the description provided in the online ad. The paint job looks like a Monday morning hangover, garage spray paint job. Overspray everywhere and painted over body damage. Now I know why they posted fuzzy, distant pictures on the ad. The transmission & rear end are all that is left to check out, I'm hoping for the best, but if the front end and engine are any indicator, they are probably damaged too. I was fully aware that I was buying used and "as is", but I expected the advertisement and the dealer to show at least a little honesty. This Van wasn't fit to drive the roads safely, I was lucky to make it back to Kansas. My opinion of D & L auto is: They buy em cheap & junky, spray imitation "Armor All" on everything to make it shiny and sell it as fast as they can. These are car dealers of the LOWEST order. Their description was rated in the good to excellent range, and this POS wasn't even road ready. Whoever coined the term "Buyer Beware" probably bought a vehicle from these crooks. My advice is to look past these people, there are a lot more honest dealers out there.
