Larry is a great auto repairman! The picture is wrong. I don't know where that picture came from, but that's not Larry or his shop in the photo with the two men! Angela Meyer. Larry took his state inspection sign down several years ago. He stopped doing inspections. There were delays on his certificate arriving on time throughout the COVID outbreak so he dropped inspections. These delays were caused by the COVID outbreak. He is my mechanic so I know this to be true. He didn't lie to you, he just didn't give you the details as to why inspections were due to COVID.

I went to get my car inspected after Covid 19 SIP was lifted, the man told me that there was a hold on all inspections, when I questioned his answer he told me if I don't believe him I can go on the dps website. So i went to 5th and Waco Dr and had no problems, in and out within 5 minutes. I thought I would go back to Larry's to tell them there is no hold, so he could start making money too. He got really defensive and said well...some places might be doing it. My point in all of this is that he lied. He should have just said that he was not doing it because of covid 19. If he lied about that there is no way I would let him work on my car. I really didn't like the fact he was so quick to argue with a paying customer. Also if he's not doing inspections right now put up a sign, unless he just really likes to argue with money.
