2 year Geek Squad Protection Plan on my laptop came in clutch! At 20 months, the fans started making a dentist drill noise with overheating. Laptop was sent off for just under a month, but it works. Relatively painless process.

The staff is very accommodating , however it does take a while to be waited on . I purchased a laptop and iPad . I really love the Best Buy in house tech warranty program that it covers multiple items that you purchase at the store . Bravo!

We purchased a TV from here and then we’re told we had to transport it upright or have it delivered. Ok, we scheduled delivery. They couldn’t do it before today (and we would have had it installed for free). 7am-1pm window today, but no phone call to cancel or reschedule. Then they try to tell my wife it’ll be another 2 weeks for delivery. Finally I call and get a delivery this week but after losing a day off work. I asked for a manager from the geek squad after waiting over 40 minutes on the phone twice. No manager response and they’re in a meeting. I then called the store directly. They also didn’t get a manger to call. No one trying to make it right. No management response.

They had a child proof Amazon Fire 10 in stock and the screen protector. I was helped by a young man that might have been 18 years old. He answered my questions and gave me some good information on the product.

Purchased a Samsung Gas Oven in September 2019 from Best Buy. Just over a year after purchase and after the warranty expired the oven stopped heating. No support from Best Buy or Samsung. I contacted an authorized Samsung repair service. They stated the heating element was bad, charged me $258.00 and replaced it. This was December 2021. Approximately 5 months later oven stopped working again same issue. Reached out to Samsung and the same service provider as well as Best Buy absolutely no support from either. All pointing the finger at another. Accent Appliances stated their warranty is 3 months and I would be required to pay again for same issue. May as well buy a new oven and I will just not a Samsung and not from Best Buy.

SO DISAPPOINTED with GEEK SQUAD! I paid for this service and set up delivery and installation for a treadmill on a Thurs. They have changed the dates to deliver and install 4 times! I've arranged my work schedule/ took off work each time. They changed it to deliver one day and install another day,. The company that handles the scheduling have said they don't have any technicians available that have time to do both deliver and install. Just got another call that stated I will have to wait 3 more days from the last scheduled date. That's now 8 days from the original scheduled date for delivery and installation. When I got frustrated the man on the phone actually laughed at me!! The item was more expensive at Best Buy but I chose them only because of my current GEEK SQUAD membership. I will definitely NOT be renewing this. 100% worthless.

We went to see if they could revive my 6 year old phone, but it was just time to pull it off life support! So we went over and got new phones. Wonderful service, Brittany was patient with us "mature" (old) folks, and listened to what we needed. Walked away satisfied, and a little educated! They know it takes time!
