Great staff, prices and selection! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. In my experience, if they don't have exactly what you want they can order it and still bring it in at far less than any other shop within Texas. Came in to buy some ammo and they had a 45/70 lever action and was ready to buy. However, as I walked around, looked at every gun they had and decided on the 45/70, not one person asked me for help nor acknowledge my presence. The store wasn't busy, maybe 4 or 5 lookers, but not even any type of assistance, it was like I was invisible...this is why I'm going to Blackbeards, I know they'll offer assistance and take my money. Never again will I drive from Sherman to visit this place.

This shop is well worth a visit, even if you have to drive to get there. I drove in from Ft Worth to buy a hard-to-find firearm that they had in stock. Not only got a very fair price, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Their inventory is insane. Not only do they have a larger selection than most stores in the Metroplex, but they have a lot of quality high-end pieces as well. If you're looking for something elusive, give them a shout. They might just have one stashed away.

This is a gun store in an old bank and it makes it that much better. Everything from the selection to the staff makes this a unique gun store that I highly recommend. The store itself is inviting and unique with a staff that is genuinely interested in what you want and not just making a sale. They have great prices on their firearms and have layaway. Even if you have to drive an hour to get here, I would recommend doing it.
