I called my mechanic because I tore a hole in my flex pipe coming home from fishing. He recommended I go to Master Muffler to get the repair done. I called, was fit into the schedule, had a quote, and the work was done right away. The only downside is that they stopped my 4 cylinder from sounding like a sports car, 😄. Service: Exhaust

I had been going to this place for years and years I never even realized that it had switched to a master muffler. Anyways I took it in to get my emissions done and have the AC compressor looked at. Anyways they called and said the whole entire air conditioning system needed to be replaced and they a no longer get the parts for it. And the emissions had been done in that it had passed. I went down there the bill was almost 200 bucks 200 bucks and they charged me a 129 50 for a diagnostics for something I already knew that the air conditioning wasn't working and they can't even fix it. If I had taken it to the dealer the dealer would not have charged me the diagnostic fee because there was nothing that they could do to repair it. But a $129 seems excessive anyways. The last time I had them check my AC it was less than 40 bucks. Anyways I will find a new place to go because this place has gotten way to exspsive.

This is not my usual location but I was in the area. I have made it my location now. Everyone was super friendly. Got the work done on my scion ia in a timely fashion. I will be going back for future work. Service: Auto maintenance

These guys know their stuff about trucks. I didn't know Master Muffler did more than exhaust? I needed an oil change on my truck and stopped in to ask for the service. They do provide it with a reasonable price and a courtesy check on brakes visually to help customer stay safe on the road was no extra charge. Wow! I'll be back. Thank you guys for the great service! I have used this place several times in the past. They were pretty good since I knew the owner, Chad, personally. I had an engine light on in my ‘05 F-150, I figured I would take it to Chad to see if he could clear the light, and maybe a temporary fix so I could get my vehicle registered, so I brought it in, and they called me hours later telling me I need a whole new engine. I was aware the engine had issues, but no, they still charged me $129.50 just to tell me I needed a new engine. The receipt says Diagnostics: $129.50 so just FYI, that’s how much they are charging just to look at your vehicle. Also, since they moved locations, they now park your vehicle across the street and make you walk across to retrieve it afterwards. I won’t be using this place again. Took excellent care of my Nissan Murano and kept me updated. I chose there because a few years ago they fixed the alternator in my Buick that the shop next door sabotaged. They've always been honest and I'll recommend them any day

The day after driving to Kearns from North Idaho in our 1988 Chevy pickup truck, I called Master Muffler about some front end & brake problems the old truck developed in the 720 mile drive. They told me to bring it in the next morning at 8 am and they would take a look. The next morning they checked the truck all over and reported the problems identified. We said go ahead with the fix. By the end of that same day the old truck was ready for pickup, all repairs completed. We returned to North Idaho a few days later and that truck ran like a champ. These folks at Master Muffler really took great care of our needs. I'm not waisting my time with a review. All I have to say is I should have read the reviews. Save yourself the trouble don't use these clowns. Negative reviews are very accurate. 2600 dollars later still have the same problem I had when I brought the vehicle in for service. Done everything but what I asked them to do. Will not ever go back. Also Chad is a miserable human being. My vehicle was left across the street unlocked. Somebody got in and stole some items. Chad claimed he watched the video did no see anything. He then outright calls me a lier And if I hadn't left him a bad rant on Google. He would have made it right. So long story short is I am now "BLACK LISTED FROM ALL UTAH LOCATIONS " please take my advice do not get ripped off by this guy! I will be filling a report with the state of Utah. As well as bbb. And whom ever else will listen. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! Service: Auto engine diagnostic
