I had a great experience today at Extra Space Storage in Lehi on North Thanksgiving Way. Katie was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant, and went out of her way to make sure I understood my options at Extra Space Storage. She answered all my questions and showed me different sized units. I recommend this place, when you need a little extra space! They even have some promotions going that saved me some money.

These guys are great. It is quick and convenient to rent a space online and they have it immediately available for you to move stuff to after you finish. I just had to upgrade my storage unit to a slightly larger one and all it took was a quick 5 minute phone call. They had the new spot immediately opened up for me and ready to move everything from the old space to the new over the next 72 hours, all without charging me additional fees. They actually care about convenience and a great customer experience. They have been awesome to work with each time I've needed a space for moving. I recommend these guys 100%.

I used the Lehi facility twice. Once was for just 1 week as we were in between apartments. They called me to end payments on the unit. That’s amazing since I don’t like bureaucracy. Then we used it again so our place wasn’t so hoardery. They are willing to get you the best price possible without coercing you into a unit that’s too big.

Great facility! Always clean, safe, and staff has always been amazing especially Mark who went out of his way to help me even after the office closed. After moving almost an hour away, I still prefer this location and will continue to use it for the length of my time in the SLC area.

Extra Space Lehi— I had some trouble with the renting process on their website (the page failed to load multiple times), but I called their office and Wyatt helped me out a ton! He was so friendly and patient as he answered my questions, walked me through the rental process, and contract. I recommend skipping the online process and just call and ask for Wyatt instead. The process will be a lot more smooth sailing and satisfactory!

Location is clean and secure, but the cost increases that I've seen over the last 2.5 years are RIDICULOUS. My total bill for a 5x10 was $74 when I signed up. They increased my rate to $80 within 4 months, and then a year later increased to $91. Now, just 6 months after the last increase, they have increased my bill to $118. To have my base rate for the unit go from $48 to $92 is outrageous. This company preys on people's desire to avoid having to haul their belongings around from place to place when they get taken advantage of. Did it suddenly get twice as expensive for them to do absolutely nothing other than power a building?

While I firmly believe this facility does not exist as a charity, I also understand economics enough to see that doubling rates “due to inflation” on existing customers is not a sustainable business model. This being said, if you are a wealthy person who does not have a garage, I would absolutely encourage you to store your things here. Clean, secure, easy access. But if you are like most people who use storage as a means to an end, count on this company doubling your rates within one years time.
