I have been doing business with Needham Jewelers for 30+ years. I have purchased numerous watches. (Seiko, Citizens & Pulsar) Mel did the service and repair in house, it was excellent! Now the watches are sent out for repair and I have been very disappointed !! March of 2019, I had a vintage Nastrix watch rebuilt for a cost of $495.00. It had not worked for many years! The watch has now been sent out 3 times for repair and it still looses 20 minutes every 4 hours. The last time is was lost for 6 weeks? I cannot use my Pulsar watch because it starts and stops when it wants to? The watch has been sent out for repair several times and continues having the same problem? Kelly

I can always count on getting the best quality jewelry at Needham’s. My most recent purchase was especially sentimental and I wanted it to be just right. They had so many options to choose from. The sales staff took the time to help me find that perfect piece and I’m confident it will be enjoyed for a long time. I got my ring over 4 years ago! I continue to go back to get it cleaned regularly in order to keep it insured. Twice I have lost a small diamond in my ring and both times they have fixed it quickly and made my ring look like new again! Every time I have gone to SE Needhams, the service has been amazing. I enjoy the environment of the store and how fun it is when they decorate it for the holidays!

I have always loved dealing with S.E. Needham’s. They have the knowledge to go in depth about your interests and design or know when to be concise find something perfect in hurry. I’ve been on both sides several times. They have never tried to upsell me. And the quality is something they should be proud of. I have no ties to them and pay full price for all of my purchases. Just a great company, I won’t go anywhere els.

We’ve purchased several rings and had several services done here and always had a great experience! This time we had my wedding ring resized and it turned out great. While we were in the store we attempted to buy a new, bigger ring and we’re given an older gentleman to work with. He really wasn’t into making a sale at all and told us he would contact the company that made the ring we wanted to see about a different band. He responded back with a picture of the same band he had shown us- just plain, when we had requested a diamond band. I told him as much and never heard another word about it! So I guess we will be finding a new place to do our shopping!

First of all I rarely take the time to sign in and fill out a review of a company. However after how me and my fiancé were treated I wanted to try and help others realize how poor the customer service is at S.E. Needham. Initially they will be very kind and helping but once you purchase something and they get your money it is a completely different experience. My fiancé purchased a mens ring from here and it came with a free casual metallic ring. However when both rings showed up, one did not fit correctly. One of the employees was very helpful and said they could order a different size for us, however as soon as he went to help another younger guy came over and said that it was going to cost us 280$. Or we would need to return both rings and get them both resized (the other one fit perfectly and I tried explaining that). After some back and forth the employee became frustrated and rude, to the point we just left. I would avoid this store at all costs because as soon as they get your money, they stop caring.

I noticed the diamond of my engagement ring was loose 1 week before my wedding. The company the ring was bought from was out of state and I didn't have time to send it to them to be repaired. After reading many reviews, I took it to S.E Needham. They assured me it was "an easy fix" and that I would get my ring back the next day. When I went to pick up my ring, I was SHOCKED. The stone in my solitaire ring was completely CROOKED, and it looked as if they simply smashed two prongs flat to hold the diamond in place. Obviously upset, I asked them to fix the damage they had caused because my wedding was in 5 days!! They got it back to me 2 days before the wedding in better condition, but still not perfect (it had to be good enough though because we were out of time). Not even 4 days after the wedding, my diamond was crooked again! I sent it back to the out of state company it was bought from, and after spending 6 WEEKS trying to repair the damages, I was told that "the company who worked on the ring before ruined it past repair." I now have to spend hundreds of dollars getting a new setting for what I was PROMISED was "a simple repair." If your jewelry is important to you NEVER take it to S.E. Needham.

Well, it took them an extra two weeks to resize my ring, and they tried to double charge my wife for shipping of my ring and I had to point it out to the salesmen. But the inside of the store is really nice and the people are dressed well and act professional. I just don’t have a ton of trust in them right now.

I was told that I would have my girlfriends ring in 3 weeks max and it took a day under 5 weeks till I got it. Although that was frustrating they handled it professionals and it all worked out. Got it the day before bridals so that was a relief. When I picked up the ring I was not happy with one of the side tapered baguettes and so Joe Needham had us bring in the ring and within 2 hours he had a new side diamond placed and it made the ring look very symmetrical. They've been good about the delay in the ring as well as making sure it was exactly what my fiancée wanted. Very pleased with their customer service.
