31 north redwood Maverick can't seem to get credit card access to work. Real pia. For years we've asked what the problem is. Still won't work. I guess we'll just go across the street.

The pumps never work! Tried multiple pumps and the card readers never work. Only reason I give two stars instead of one is the employees are very nice.

WARNING They like to steal your money. Do not prepay for gas at the counter or they will take the money and refuse to give you the auth code.

The first two reviews are classic examples of a flawed rating system. I fill up at Maverick almost all the time. I like the discount on gas and rewards for using my adventure card. I also like the friendly, courteous customer service.

I enjoy visit the Maverik gas stations for gas, snacks, food, and a nice clean restroom... For the most part the staff are friendly, the gas has a good enough quality for my six-year-old car, and the snacks, drinks, and food are always pleasing to my belly!

Love Maverik fuel stops. Great Fuel with rewards and wonderful goodies to get. Always friendly employees. Store is always Super Clean. Best bathrooms around.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I stopped in the store around 3 am to pick up a few things on my way to work. As I approached the register to make my purchase I notice that the young man behind the counter was was messing with something on his arms as I got closer I realized his arms were full of scabs and sores. He was picking at them and causing them to bleed. Needless to say I left the store without making my purchase and won't be returning to this store anytime soon. Maverick might of lowered their standards by hiring someone that has such little regard for public safety and general hygiene practices but it doesn't mean I have to lower mine as patron. I expect more from such large chain.

I get teased all the time for how much I love Maverik's food. I keep talking about how big and delicious the gobbler sandwich is. I've had it from 4 different Maverik's and it's always big enough that I eat it for two meals. Today I talked my coworkers into trying it out. I called ahead and ordered them and when I picked them up I was very disappointed. There was enough toppings on them for maybe a dinner roll. Normally when I get it you can't close the bun they are so full of meat and stuffing and cranberry. You could close the bun on these and not know there was anything on this sandwich it just looked like bread. They were still delicious but after all the talking about how big and wonderful they are I was embarrassed to bring these back to my co workers. All the staff who helped me at the store were over the top friendly and very polite, so I feel bad leaving a bad review. I think because this one does takeout and online orders that they have to be strict with portion control. So, if you want to get the most amazing sandwich don't get it from this Maverik go to one of the others. The gobbler is sooooo good. Try it from one of the other Maverik's where it's made big and delicious.

At 05:00 on 9/22/20 I stopped real quick for windshield washer fluid. The total came to $7.59. My card wasn't working so I told the cashier I had $7.00 or a $50 bill. He quickly asked if I had a $20 bill. I repeated what I had. He took the $50 and gave me $42 back. So once again I have to pay extra because these stores say they don't have change. This was the worst so far as it was just kept with no comment. First of all, I'm a truck driver and stop several times a day. I average $3 a shift being taken from me if i pay cash. It adds up fast! Second, why do a lot of places have change now while others RIP us off claiming they can't get change? That question has the answer in it. You are stealing and from the industry that brings your goods to sell and spends a lot on fuel, food, and showers. I will NEVER EVER spend another penny at any maverick!!! This pandemic that isn't quite as huge as they claim and pales in comparison to the flu has just been an excuse to con people out of money and shut down the mom and pop places so the big corporations have all the control. Too bad!!! Shame on you Maverick!
