HORRIBLE customer service. I have tried for years to keep supporting this small business, but they will no longer have my business. Every single time I go here and buy multiple bags of 50 pounds of chicken feed none of their employees open the door for me to get out of the store or offer to lift the heavy bags into my car. Last time I went the 30 year old male employee rang up my 3 bags of feed and then went back to scrolling his phone. As I struggled to open the door for myself with my heavy shopping cart another employee said to me “you got that?” As he stood and watched me struggle. Another time an elderly male customer asked the employee if he was going to help me get the bags in my car. He said no. And then the elderly customer came to my car to help! Unbelievable! From now one I will only support IFA. Not only do their employees load the heavy feed bags into my car, but as soon as I walk near the feed an employee stops me and fills my cart for me.

I have done a lot of projects around the house and have gone to Stringhams multiple times to pick up things I need. They have pretty much everything I need for my projects. Great customer service, the workers know where to find things and are always helpful when I have questions.

Ace - pros: - Similar selection and pricing - It's closer, I guess? - Modern, shinier, if that matters to you Ace - cons: - Staff rarely asks or wants to help - Understaffed - If you do ask for help, they often can't. They don't know where to find anything. You're usually on your own. - No rentals - No shipments This place rocks. I always get helped, and I always find what I need.

Stringhams is a small town hardware store that has a huge selection to choose from. They are a little more expensive than your big box stores, but not so much that it's worth driving to the bigger stores. I am yet to go here and not find what I was looking for. The service is great! I would highly recommend!

Honestly there isn't a hardware store that doesn't have some items overpriced but I've been coming to this particular one for 14 years now. There owners and staff have always been friendly and very helpful. They carry a decent amount of what you'd expect from a true value.

I was passing thru and needed several tools to finish the job. Local place right off the freeway. Had a good selection especially being from a small town. Great customer service and quick. Got what I needed. Easy.
