I thought I'd feel devastated losing Shoppers in place of another grocer, but I was wrong in that presumption. The prices are VERY fair, hell some of them I feel they're trying to undercut! The store layout is a bit odd, but once you've visited more than once, it's not a bother, in fact, maybe it's a good thing the doors don't lead you to right behind the registers and drop you straight to the shopping (something some stores could probably learn). I also love seeing new items in rotation, although that does make me miss some favorites when they go, it is nice to have a revolving selection in some areas. The only downsides really are that variety in non-rotational areas can be a bit underwhelming, and this includes quantity variety (ex: can only buy avocados in packs of three or four), and if you shop later in the day, some things might be out of stock that day. Nevertheless, although I do miss Shoppers, Lidl has lived up for the most part to expectations, and I'm glad it's only a hop and a skip away in a nice shopping center.

Sadly, now that Covid restrictions have been relaxed, some customers are touching bakery goods with their bare hands without purchasing them. One employee's attention was called about it and he just shrugged. This was 8/6/22 around 7pm.

More than a budget-friendly grocery store, I appreciate the European items, as well as the packaged meats and good cheese selection.

Second lowest prices for general grocery shopping after Aldi. Sales are often and generous.

it has its own personality. Some special products, some Italian cheese, some good quality oil... Store is not big and sometimes there is no choice, but in general you can find a lot of good food. Prices in general good (but not always, and sometimes price is low but quality too). Bottom line: definitely interesting.

Lidl’s has become one of my favorite stores to shop at with its wide variety of items and low prices. This location in particular isn’t my go-to but is great for some last-minute needs. The issue with this store is customer checkout. There’s usually only one employee working the register and when there’s a load of customers, your trip to the grocery store can take a lot longer than planned.

This was not my usual Lidl stop. It was a new store for me. I have to say I like my other one better. The shelves were not stocked and I am not sure if that's an issue from Shipping or the store. It was disappointing not to find the things that I wanted. Though I will say I went super early in the morning and was able to get fresh Bakery items and fruit items which are sometimes hard to find later in the day. So there was some good and there was some not so good. I think I will stick with my usual Springfield store.

Produce is mostly good. Variety isn't plentiful. Customer service is terrible. People are extremely rude when speaking to customers. Customers seem to be an inconvenience to them. This makes me want to not go anymore. Employees should remember that customers pay their checks and without us there wouldn't be jobs. I work in customer service and treating people in a rude manner is not justified. Everyone is overworked and stressed at work sometimes, you're not special.

Great prices, pretty good items. They lose a star because of lack of variety and because I have not had good luck with their ground turkey not already being bad the day I bought it with plenty of time left before the best by date. I have stopped purchasing ground turkey from them as a result. Haven't had an issue with anything else.

It's a great store and just what you'd expect from a "no frills" grocery store. I would add that it has a leg up on Aldi as they have an in-store bakery, so plenty of fresh baked goods to choose from. Just remember that the majority of items are their in house brand and not brand name, although they do have some brand name options. It's new so plenty of shiny floors and counters. Staff is kind and courteous.
