I have brought both of my pets here for surgical procedures and both times it was a fantastic experience! They are great here.

Dr. Magerkorth is definitely the best vet in this area. . It’s worth the drive to Catlett. He really takes the time to discuss the needs of my dog. Such a great place!

We really enjoy coming to CCC for all our pets needs. They are so kind, honest, and helpful. Dr. John explains things thoroughly and is always doing it with a smile 😊

Community Critter Care is amazing. Over the years I’ve had four animals seen by Dr. John. He truly cares about our four legged friends. Unfortunately, I lost two dogs within 5 weeks of one another in 2020. They were both older (I attribute there longevity to Community Critter Care) and it was time. But they were all well taken care of by the staff. Great service and great people. I wouldn’t trust my pets to anyone else’s care.

I wish I could give 6 stars!!! Was recommended by a friend to come here and we’re located all the way over in Fredericksburg and have been struggling to find a vet that gives a proper care AND doesn’t rip us off and community critter care went above and beyond I could not be more impressed!!!! You could tell immediately everyone working enjoyed the job and the animals and they were all very patient and helpful and caring and I got so many tips today I feel so much more better apt to take care of my babies! I will be returning again and again, for ALL my pets from now on!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

Dr. John and his staff truly care about their patients and clients. Dr. John is thorough, honest, and caring. He works hard to develop the best treatment and preventative plans that work for you and your pet. He will not perform unnecessary diagnostic testing and will only do what is best for your pet. I have always felt I can rely on him as a fellow industry professional and friend. I trust him completely and so do my pets.

After working in the veterinary field for years, I'm very particular about the way my animals are handled and how veterinary visits are conducted. I no longer work in the field and was in search of a new clinic to take my pets to. My first visit to Community Critter Care was with my cat, who is a little spicy at times. They got her in quickly, had no issues handling her, the entire process was smooth for myself and my cat (despite Covid; they have adapted so very well to abide by CDC guidelines), and she was on the mend in no time. The true test, however, was taking my dog to them for the first time. She is large, fearful of strangers, and has never experienced a vet visit anywhere I was not working since we adopted her. Dr. Magerkorth has absolutely gone above and beyond during both of her visits to ensure that she is as comfortable during exams/treatment as possible, making special accommodations that I can not thank him enough for! He spends a great deal of time with each patient, making sure every detail and concern is addressed. The office manger, Lena, personally called me to offer up suggestions for canine physical therapy services in the area, and she was so kind. For any prescriptions they can, they offer to script them out to save costs, but they're so reasonably priced (all services, not just medications) that in the future I will plan to just purchase all medications from the clinic. I have been telling all of my family and friends in the area about this facility, and will continue to do so. So happy to have this clinic in the community!

Dr John treats our pets as family. He is professional and caring. We have been to many places that treated our dogs and didn’t help them be healthy. Community Critter Care saved our oldest dog and she is healthier than ever and we cant thank them enough. Seeing them feel well and playing again was amazing. I wouldn't trust my beloved babies to anyone else. The office uses advanced techniques and is clear about cost. Worth the drive.

This group was so professional and warm with our labradoodle, Cholula. Dr. M was knowledgeable, organized, and patient. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything. They were also quite accommodating with a last minute request. Thank you, Dr!! Highly recommend to all owners of fur babies!
