My Bestie and I went for the first time today and we had the best time. The show was AMAZING. if you haven't been, you need to go. I cant wait until next time. Very inviting and comfortable atmosphere. I really enjoyed the experience.

Very cute gay bar with food and lots of drag. Diverse, friendly crowd. Was happy with the music. Bar service was great! Prices v good. Missing star is for having open-carrying security. No one likes to see a paramilitary-looking dude wandering around while they try to drink and have fun, and it increases risk of serious injury or death if they have to break up a common bar fight. Understood that gay bars are a target but open carry guards are not the solution.

We celebrated my friend’s bday for the drag brunch and it did not disappoint. Food was good, drinks were good, and the entertainment was fabulous. The queens were super interactive and beautiful and perfect. Would love to go back! 10/10.

A few of my friends and I came to Richmond for a weekend. Godfrey's was one of the places that we were fortunate enough to attend, I wasn't sure what to expect as I have never came to a show before. When I say that the entertainment here was out of this world. It was such an amazing time, all of the performers did amazing, The host was the host of all hosts. 😍 If I come back to Richmond, this would be one of my spots to visit again and again. Hell, the food was even delicious.

They charged a cover when their card machines and internet is down…they were operating cash only something was very fishy about the whole situation because they were using iPads to charge for which could easily operate with a hotspot…as an out of towner I would never go to this place again. Drinks are crazy expensive and a cover for a bar with about 15 people in it on Memorial Day weekend Saturday…absolutely ridiculous. Go to barcode!!!!

After learning that I have two half-sisters, we met in person for the first time in Richmond and I took them to Godfrey's to celebrate our meeting AND one of my half-sister's coming out as bisexual. I slipped a note to my server, who gave it to the show hostess. The show hostess did SUCH an amazing job of making this a special experience for them. On an average day, brunch at Godfrey's is fantastic. On this day, brunch at Godfrey's was INCREDIBLE. I can't say enough good things <3

We went to a 2pm show for my best friends birthday. The queens were amazing. High energy and super engaging and entertaining. They called on my friend multiple times and made her feel really special. Celestia really carries the whole place. (Deserves a raise, some tips and some more) Well Tiff, if you had such a good time, why not 5 stars? I'll tell you. We had a party of 8 and all of our food got to us different times. Not 5 or even 10 minutes but 45 minutes apart. The drinks were fine. When you book online they mention its $25 but fail to mention the 20% gratuity they automatically add which brought my meal up to $34. For a salad that was just ok. No alcohol. Seems a bit steep but for the show itself it's definitely worth the trip and I would not mind catching another show. There's nothing else like it in the area.

A blast, truly! Good vibes, great food (no seriously, never been to a bar with better food), and hot queens. Brunches require a reservation in advance, but the Saturday nights are open and incredible. Check Godfreys out ASAP!

Birthday Brunch!!!! and Yess the host was life 😘The entertainment was good professional and clean. If your not from here (RVA) this is something to expirence. Music was good , decor on point. Prior to my arrival the door checked vaccinated cards . Felt good to know all in attendance we vaccinated. Tables were rather close together and this place will sell out fast .
