Four Fridays in a row, came in at 11:30 thinking I was going to be early to get some smoked chicken. Only to be told that the next batch of smoked chicken wouldn't be available until 1pm. That's a little backwards as lunch time is it noon. I would imagine that if I am the management that I could easily fix this issue by having my person that prepares the smoked chicken would have another batch out between 11:45am and 12pm. To ensure that the lunch crowd can get there smoked chicken. I have seen the service and the preparedness of the food dramatically get worse over the last few months. Looks like there are plenty of people working behind the counter and in the kitchen so I don't see where the labor is an issue.

Amazing food with a variety of lunch choices and speciality meals everyday, and if the lunch isnt your option they have shelves of chips, snacks, and fridges full of all types of beverages. Also the staff are very respectful and answer any questions their customers have. They have a restroom incase you gotta use it. Out of all the convenient stores and food joints I've been to this was by far the best with scenery and delicious food. I would recommend the tender snack it is very tasteful and makes a great meal.

So the hype was real the chicken is delicious and the service was on point! If you can get over the fact that you're buying food in a little bit of a run-down gas station you'll really enjoy coming here. I was told by a friend of mine about the fresh chicken and some great breakfast items I made the trip out to see him and it was he was right.

Went to a Birthday Party and they served smoked and fried chicken from Wise Choice. Hands down the best kept secret as far as I am concerned. How is it that I have lived here for ten years and am just learning about this fabulous chicken. Two weeks ago served it for my 24 year old son and 9 of his friends with hearty appetites. Huge hit and fan favorite.

It has been three years ago that I had stopped and had dinner here with my family. I have been searching for it for a while. I finally found it on my maps and marked it as a favorite. When I get back to Va. I will be eating at this place again and again. Very good food and easy to get to from I-64. Very busy place at lunch so try to get there before the rush because everyone enjoys, down home southern cooking.
