I used to like going to this store but I will no longer be shopping here. For the past week they've had a cash only sign up when in fact their debit/credit card machines have been working. I went by there yesterday to grab a few things and was rudely told upon walking in that their machines are down when they are in fact not. I've had two of my neighbors tell me they work. I left anyway because apparently they don't need my business. That and the fact that they told a disabled friend of mine that they should "shop somewhere else" because they needed a cart and none were made available is enough for me to never shop there again. I will gladly travel a further distance so I don't have to deal with lazy unprofessional staff.

One of their cashiers has been talking on her bluetooth earbuds while ignoring customers during checkout. Terrible customer service. It's family dollar so I don't expect much, but this is a no-no.

Very clean and will go out of there to help you An for the gentleman looking for small portable AM FM RADIO They carry 3 small size the $3 one hooks up to blue tooth looks just like speaker and has amazing sound just smaller but it rocks for the money the one we got my granddaughter she like better than $125.00 we gave her for Christmas THEY NEED TO BE LOOKED OUT FOR BY CORPORATE BEFORE SOMEONE STEALS THEM AWAY THE OLD SAYING GOOD HELP IS HARD TO FIND IS TRUE (YOU GUYS ROCK)

First time eating here and everything i ordered was really good, hot and tasty..crab dip with pita chips was delicious 😋 although I ordered a crab cake to go and my fiance left it on the table I didn't get a chance to rate it..The waitress were very good, service was quick even on a busy Father's day ..I would recommend this seafood place to eat.

Very clean, incredibly well stocked. This Family Dollar has it together. Hands down better than the Dollar General down the street and better prices.

I love the convenience of having this store in our Virginia Beach neighborhood. And thank you for being open during the COVID pandemic. We appreciate all the workers. However, can the manager hire someone to clean the parking area at least once a week. I drove up today, Sunday, August 16 and all the wet trash was discussing. I am a regular shopper at family dollar because it has good deals. I would give this one 5 stars, if it weren't for one employee I see there regularly. She is terrible. Upon my visit today, I learned that she is a manager. Fortunately, she wasn't in this visit. This woman is unpleasant to her customers, and openly berates other employees in front of said customers every time I'm in there. 2 weeks ago she was in the middle of checking me out & she stopped to yell at the cashier manning the other register in front of me & about 4-5 other people. Last week she was my cashier again. Not only was she extremely rude, barely acknowledging that I was there, staring at her phone, starting and stopping ringing up my products so she could text on said phone, but she was berating yet another employee in front of me AGAIN! These poor employees don't deserve the treatment they get. Every other employee I've encountered there has been nothing but nice and accomadating. I understand having to reprimand employees from time to time, but it is extremely unprofessional, degrading & and downright disrespectful to do it in front of others, especially your customers. This woman has no business being anyone's manager. So Family Dollar, as much as I like your store, I can't abide by unnecessarily nasty people. I hope it changes.

My experience at Family Dollar today was nothing short of excellent service. The cashier and another lady, I think was the manager helped me save. Then I purchased a wire cart to carry my items and a helpful male clerk sat with me and helped me assemble it. Thank you for all the help I received this morning!
