There is EVERYTHING to love about this place: the name, the concept, the people, the products. We spent a good while chatting with the staff and tasting both preserves and shrubs. No silly, not bushes— the vinegar and fruit syrup drink. The flavors are so cleverly devised and so clean and tangy in taste, there’s no doubt you’ll find more than one to take home or ship to be there when you return home. Their line is enriched by artisanal home goods, apparel, and additional tasty offerings from other small batch folks. We are gardeners and trail runners: obviously we needed “Girl Meets Dirt” T-shirts. These products are a distinctive souvenir of the island and excellent gifts to have in hand. Ya gotta check it out.

I’ve not been here myself, alas. Butt my dear niece Elissa sends me the most wonderful things from here and I feel myself transported - doesn’t that count? The tastes and quality are unbeatable and incredibly varied. I can’t wait to shop there myself one day.

Love the atmosphere and the goal. It's not their fault that I can't have that much sugar. Be prepared that most of their recipes are going to be high in sugar: preserves, syrups, chocolate, caramels, etc. I did, however, find a lovely and diabetic-friendly coconut cashew butter. So good!

Very friendly and informative. We really enjoyed browsing their storefront. We bought a hostess gift and some spoon preserves to take home.

They're wonderful products, tantalizing must haves. First met 2 years ago at the Ballard farmer's market, found again at my local farm stand in Danbury, CT - delightful and best part of that day! Available online with a annual jam subscription? I'm in!

Girl Meets Dirt is the absolute best. Not only are their products amazing, but they make great gifts too. I ordered a gift box for my dad for Father's Day and he was so enthralled by the level of detail they put into the gift box. You really can't go wrong with any item from them. You can taste the freshness in every bite or sip. I'm a total GMD fan girl.

Great experience, we will definitely visit again! Staff was very friendly and the jams and preserves were very good. We especially enjoyed the Quince, along with other other flavors including the rhubarb and lavender. We are excited to share these with our friends back home.
