I found the man at the U-Haul desk upbeat and eager to help. His job looks bleak in a building slated to be torn down for yet more useless apartments in a city without jobs or growth. The only things in Seattle showing promise is, crime & mental illness. The Seattle City Council stands for or behind criminals and unruly tenants. Seattle is a lawless City resembling a wild West Town of late.

BAD SERVICE. Please DO NOT MAKE reservations here. Especially ONLINE. They do not respect your time or your reservation. The customer service is downright horrible. I had my reservation changed on me a day before I was supposed to pick up my vehicle. I was changed to a different time and a location over 30 min away from the original reservation. Their online business is just a trick to get your phone number and spam your email/phone. No reservations are guaranteed until YOU call them.

Avoid if possible. I made a booking 2 months in advance, and they stated they could not even locate my reservation. When I asked if they had any other trucks available, they stated that the trucks they had were already triple booked on accident. May be worth the extra miles to book further away

I had a great experience at this location. Having never rented a moving van before, or driven anything this big, I was a bit nervous about it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get through everything quickly end return the van. The check out process wasn’t as easy or intuitive as I thought it would be, so I wasn’t able to properly complete it. There is definitely room for improvement here, especially on their website, but as far as the location goes, this one is the best in Seattle. Whenever I move again, I will rent from them.

I made a mistake not listening to others. Vaguely thought like such things wouldn't happen to me. No point at all of making a reservation one month in advance. But you got a confirmation email? Forget about it. You will be notified at the very last minute, at the very moment when you badly need a moving truck, that there is no available truck left. You want to ruin your moving day? Highly recommend this place.

This location is an utter nuisance. There are only 4 parking spots while there are 5 vehicles (that I am aware of). I took the U-haul at 3pm and wanted to return it at 10pm but when I arrive there is no parking spot. When I contact the U-haul customer service, all they said was “The dealer has 4 parking spots only and it’s first come first serve basis.” Like what the hell?!?! I just want to return your vehicle how can you say it’s not possible? Where the hell do I park it overnight? Utterly disappointed with the experience and would never suggest this location to anyone.

Rented a truck here two different times, less than one week in advance, both during covid and both during the day (we're talking hours of 9am to 12pm), and I got my truck both times. I never did after hours pickup or drop off because that just sounds super sketchy in Seattle. Never had any issues with the trucks or the people working the desk.

Of the 3 times I've tried to rent a truck here, I've had a 33% success rate. Let that sink in, a rental place, with a reserved rental, has told me 2/3 times that they do not have my truck for one reason or another. This third time they told me the employees, note the plural, had an emergency and all reservations are canceled. The dude at the desk went on to say that I could call uhaul and pick up my truck from another location.

My father and I rented a trailer from this u-haul to help me move down to Arizona. On the day we were supposed to pick up the trailer we missed to calls from them. By the time we had a break at work to call them back they had given away our trailer and we had to spend the rest of the day looking for another trailer. We lost a lot of money because of this. Every other U-haul location was full and we’re confused saying that they never cancel reservations because of missed calls. We’ve moved a lot and never have had this problem so it’s probably just this location and not U-haul. Either way avoid this location at all costs.

We rented a van from UHaul and were having one of those classic moving nightmares, realizing mid-load that some of our furniture was simply not going to fit in the vehicle we rented. After an hour of turning and twisting our belongings every which way available to us, we called UHaul about the possibility of swapping our van for a larger vehicle, fairly near closing time if I admit. Bradley was beyond helpful. We were able to swap the van for the larger vehicle, paying only the difference in rates, and he even allowed us to park the truck back at their facility overnight after we had loaded everything. We would have been absolutely doomed without his help and kindness. We'll certainly be renting from this location again. Thank you for your wonderful service!
