Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Moving can typically be one of the top 5 most challenging and worrisome life events. These folks went above and beyond to make this a positive experience. Also, it makes a big difference which U-Haul outlet you choose. These folks were actually my second choice because they were farther away. However, the first dealer that was closer only had part of what we needed, and it was broken, plus we are still waiting for the refund of almost $800.00. Thank you for your help

I sat outside for one hour trying to get my U-Haul that I still was not able to get. The location was closed but I was told I could pick up using my mobile phone. That didn’t work. I waited on the phone for 53 minutes just to be hung up on. I then contacted via live chat and was told the number to call which was the number I had already called 3 times and been hung up on after being transferred. This is so disturbing! I was stranded in deer park, waiting for a U-Haul I couldn’t even pick up. They eventually gave me a supervisors extension and she said I could pick up one an hour away from where I live and they would upgrade the size because that’s all they had available .Well it’s my only choice! I didn’t need a bigger size. Now I’m driving 2 hours round trip to get a U-Haul. Wasting more gas for this bigger truck I didn’t want or need. I deserve a full refund. I’m wasting so much money and time just trying to pick up a truck I reserved.someone made a mistake and told me I could pick up the U-Haul. If I didn’t need packed tonight I would have cancelled my reservation. This is the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul.

This place is a joke and doesn’t even deserve the one star I had to give to be able to write a review. Upon arriving to return the trailer I rented there was no attendant on duty. The hours on their website says they are open till 4, the gate was open and the OPEN sign was on. I called the number posted on the door again no answer. I was told that the attendant lives on sight so went to what looked like an apartment. Knocked on the door and was greeted with. “Did I just try to call”? (In a sarcastic way) When we got inside the office I told her we were dropping off a trailer her immediate response to me was she was not scheduled to intake anything today and wanted me to make the call to the 1-800 number. I told her this is where I was told by U Haul to drop the trailer and that she could call. I was not going to wait on hold to do her job. She was argumentative, disrespectful and unprofessional. U Haul gave me NO paperwork. I told her I was dropping the trailer and she could call and figure it out. After leaving I contacted my credit card company. This attendant charged my card a bogus after hours drop and cleaning fee. 1. The facility states they are open till 4 on Saturdays ( I dropped off at noon) 2. This was a trailer. There was nothing to clean! It was left in the same condition it was found in. I called U Haul right away and told them to reverse the extra charges as I did not authorize them and they where placed by the attendant in spite to get back at me. They did reverse them and I will NEVER use U Haul again!

My friend is renting a uhaul today and It reminded me of the horrible experience I had at the Deer Park location. when you pick up a u haul they note how much gas was in it and you are supposed to fill it back to that level. I rented in Spokane and dropped off in Deer Park. The Spokane office noted 1/4 tank; I dropped it off in deer park with 1/4 tank and they said "they never send a truck out with 1/4 tank" and I was charged for not having "enough gas".

Terrible Uhaul place I was there for over an hour trying to contact them to pick up my cargo trailer and no one was answering and a few other people showed up and they couldn’t get ahold of them either. Do not go through these people.

Very easy to get a Uhaul. She made the process very quick, easy, and painless. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

The only complaint about this place is the couple who run it frequently don’t open the gate by 7am for access to your storage unit as the signs say. I’ve been made late waiting on them to open the gate in order to grab tools on several occasions. When I first got got my storage unit they said just call us and we’ll come open it, but they never have. Instead of just opening it so people can get on with their day.

My aunt is almost 70 years old and has had her reservation for several weeks now. She's sick and moving back to California to be with her immediate family and u-haul called her and told her they rented out all the sizes she reserved.... So now she has to travel almost 2 hours north to get the right size. What the hell kind of company does that to an elderly lady, u-haul that's who!!! Will never ever use u-haul again and you better believe I'm making this go viral. Shame on u-haul!!!!
