The outside of the building doesn't really do justice to the beautiful interior. The Tea Room has gorgeous table settings and floral arrangements. Our 5 course King's Tea yesterday was delicious. The corn chowder brought tears to my eyes because it reminded me of my grandmother's homemade chowder, it was SO good! Plus the corner full of hats to try on was the icing on the cake of my birthday! Oh and the white passionfruit tea, you should definitely try the white passionfruit tea! Dietary restrictions: They ask at the time you make your reservation for any dietary restrictions they need to try to accommodate.

Server was nice, but was disappointed when she told us a lot of teas, bread, and other food options were out. The food all came in at different times, and the loaded baked potato soup tasted floury, and there was chunks of undercooked potatoes. My mother ordered an omelette, and it was more like scrambled eggs. And my aunt wanted soup, was told there was some left, then the server tried to hand her a different soup saying “the kitchen is just throwing things out the window, you want it?” We did like how many different flavors of teas there were, but it was a tad confusing on the “refills” of the family and personal pots. Prices are high for what you get.

Truly mediocre tea service. My husband and I treat ourselves to high tea a couple of times a year for special occasions. We hadn't been here before and our regular place was booked so we thought we'd give it a try. I will say, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the teas we tried were pleasant and brewed well. But that is where the compliments end. Their tea menu is fairly limited, and they were out of several options. The doors were propped open, and the noise from the traffic on Division was quite disrupting to the peaceful atmosphere they were attempting to cultivate. But the biggest complaints are with the food. The scones were not served with any jam, and the "clotted cream" was an offensive mix of what tasted like sweetened whipped cream and cottage cheese. The baked goods (both the scones and the cakes we had for dessert) were very dense and claggy. The "tiers" were brought out in stages, one after the other, rather than altogether, but it did not hide the fact that many of the options reused the same ingredients, so it felt there was little variety and some weird mashing up of things on hand. The hot sandwich was possibly the weirdest (not in a good way) thing I have ever eaten--some sort of flatbread cheese sandwich with raw onion, cucumber, and balsamic vinegar. One of the other "sandwiches" was a wrap using the same cheese and unnecessarily also drizzled in balsamic, which came off as deli sandwich fare. The cucumber was the only true finger sandwich and was okay, but the bread had definitely sat out too long. The desserts were too large--full-sized cupcakes, bar cake, and a standard cookie, and as I've already mentioned, extremely disappointing in quality. The molasses cookie would have been decent if it hadn't been coated in cream cheese frosting. We ate only a few bites of each, and that was still too much. Overall, it was excessive in all of the worst ways and lacking any sort of finesse. We left feeling too full and completely unsatisfied. Very disappointing.

This place is great! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and there are soooo many options for tea. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone! Even if you don’t like tea, the food is worth a trip in. I will definitely be returning soon and I can’t wait to go back for one of their high teas as well.

We rented this space for as private celebration. The staff here is great, Just a great place for friends and family to come.. Love the decor and the set up. They went out of thier way for us and I truly appreciate them.. I would definitely recommend.. The prices are great, and our attendant went above and beyond for our group. I would book this venue again.. Plus if ever in my city this place is a must to add to you itinerary.. Parking: Plenty of parking on the side and of street. Wheelchair accessibility: If you use a cane, wheelchair, or have a hard time walking the parking and walk up is level and easy to maneuver.

This place is fantastic. Blueberry cheesecake French toast is my favorite. Great selection of teas. If you like collecting vintage tea cups you will find them here in the shop.

We had high hopes to find a good afternoon tea (which is not High Tea as it's called in the states). Our visit started with a sweet and attentive waitress, but was disappointing from that point. The tea selection was majority fruity or flavoured varieties, which is fine for those who like that, but it would have been nice to have more traditional black tea options (like Assam's, etc). The clotted cream is not actually clotted cream but some distant variation that won't remind you of what is served in England. The scones were decent but a bit dry. The rest of the offerings were fairly pedestrian...and for $50 I would expect better quality. Further, the tea room is a large open space with a lot of tables in it. There weren't too many people present when we were there, but I can imagine it being quite loud when full. I would highly recommend Brambleberry for your finer tea service. Their food and dessert options are clearly superior, and they have an excellent tea selection. The tea options there dwarf Heavenly's. With the closure of 6th Ave Tea, Brambleberry is the best option in town. 🇬🇧

Super amazing food! Lots of very good options. I will say $2.50 each for the mini scones is a bit steep but they're delicious! Full size scones would be great too. Hoping they come up with a combo with a Family pot of tea and scones...currently its just the personal pot and scones. Everything I have had has been amazing. Friendly service too!
