Stopped to check out some shoes at the Shoe Department Encore looking for Sketchers for my hubby. He is wanting lightweight but with steel toes for work. I was looking for some pretty comfy sandals for myself and our trip for our anniversary. I'm always looking for comfy shoes. The store was clean and spacious. The staff friendly and helpful. I took some photos for my hubby to review and we will definitely go back and find him a pair soon.

The 3 ladies working at this location this evening were insanely rude. The stayed in the back of the store discussing inappropriate topics, refused to help customers, and when it was time to check out one employee rolled her eyes and another came walking up behind us fairly close and almost bumped in to us on purpose. It seems like corporate needs to get involved in this store.

One of the two shoe department stores in town and the largest one. They have god collection of shoes. However, if you want to find plain closed lacing oxford you might not have a lot of choices. Most of the men's dress shoes are open lacing. I think it's not the stores fault, just the current trend of fashion. Though I think for the most formal dress up you need a plain closed lacing black leather oxford shoe.employees are courteous. I recommend this shop.

If you are on a budget and dont care about the newest releases or being fashionable then it's a good shoe store. More for kids or the shoe you are required to get for work. People who have many pairs of expensive sneakers arent going to find anything of interest here. Has that shoe store smell we all remember from childhood. Depending on your childhood that might be good or bad.

My daughter and I went to The Shoe Department in the mall on Tuesday night. I found a purse I really liked. A dark haired girl cashier was checking us out. As she was ringing up my purse, she kept turning around yelling and trying to argue with the other girl with blond hair working behind the counter, who kept telling her there's customers around. The girl was very demeaning and rude and I don't think it's appropriate to argue in front of customers. It looks bad on the company and we won't be back. I'm happy with my purse though!

2 stars for bad morals and respect for certain customers coming from certain employees on may 20th. I was there with my fiance we walked in and soon as we were half way in the store there were certain female employees who were in the store acting immature and rude not acting professional at all. giving off very rude negative catty vibes so we left the store with out buying nothing and took our selves some place else with more polite employees. I'll never come back here it was a bad first impression. Those employees are in dire need of a boost of positiveness and respect for all walks of human life who enter the store other wise its making the business look bad and unprofessional. no one wants to deal with that type of ignorant behavior while trying to look for shoes .
