I just signed up for service today. The coverage in my area is much better than what I had but the customer service I got today left a lot to be desired. It remains to be seen if they keep the promises they made. The signup process took several hours and all I was doing was switching carriers and porting a number. Nothing unusual or out of line. The management of the Fox River Mall store did not impress me as having the skills to be an adequate manager of people. Nice guy but clearly lacking in important business and management skills. I'm not going to say nasty things about the company because I've only been with them a few hours at this point, but I will not be going back to the retail store that set it up.

Went in today around 5pm (5/12/21) to the T-Mobile inside Fox river mall. Customer rep who attended me was off the bat rude, he seemed annoyed at everything I was asking. Kept huffing and puffing and making gestures as I was explaining what I needed to do to change a phone line to a different account and he was rude to my friend who was also there with me. In the end I just ended up paying my phone bill and he couldn’t get me a receipt because the printer wasn’t working so I walked out. Not planning on going back to that T-Mobile store I’d rather drive far for better customer service next time!

Came to switch over and both of the employees kept telling me two different things. Both Brandon and Ethan told me two different pricing on the same phone plans. Ethan sighed at me for asking about mobile data because he couldn't explain simply that 100gb applies for all the phones on the plan. Brandon was a little more helpful but still gave me the kickback and tried to rush me to sign up. I hope this isn't the standard at all t-mobiles..

2 hours and the guy working (ethan) had 0 clue as to what he was doing... other associate was to worry about explaining what internet is to someone else. Now phones dont work and have to waste my whole night on hold with a t mobile rep to get our new phones working. Least you could do is ensure your associates know what there doing before they head to ur sales floor

The store manager Mark, he's not a nice person or professional at all. I've been coming here for years, always have good service and leave happy. Everyone here always so nice and helpful until I ran into problems and have to deal with Mark! I don't think Mark is fit to be the store manager and I would never go back to that store to do business w Mark again!

---- UPDATE ---- After leaving the review I was contacted by Vince the District Manager. After a 2 minute call he made everything right and will be crediting my account for the money owed. ---- ORIGINAL POST ---- 1 Star review. I decided to switch to T-Mobile and stopped into the Fox River store to make the switch. They told me I could either get a deal on a new phone or that they would pay off my early termination fee if I switched. I traded in my phone and they told me to submit my info to get reimbursed for my early termination fee. T-Mobile denied my claim and now this store is no help. I've talked to multiple staff and managers from this store with no luck. They have told me 4 times that a district manager would call me, which has yet to happen. I'd suggest going to a different store where they are willing to help you after the initial sale.

I just stopped in to this store with two problems on my phone. The employees were both very pleasant but after looking at my phone, the one who was helping me just said, "I'm stumped", and there was no further effort to do anything else to figure out the problem. One other time I went in with a different issue and the employee who was helping me got on the phone and worked with someone else and resolved the issue fairly quickly. Today there was no significant attempt to fix the problems.

I stopped by the store to discuss the cost of their 55 and over plan. 2 associates were very helpful and explained the costs of switching from my current carrier including how much credit I would receive for my existing phone. I just need to make certain that T Mobile has good coverage where I live before making the decision to switch carriers.

I only stopped by to check out the OnePlus 6t phone in person as there are no T-Mobile stores near where I live. I was greeted with a hello and a friendly smile as I entered the store. She showed me where the 6t was and we talked about phones for a bit. This was by far the best and most laid back phone store experience I've had. I don't remember the employee's name but she was working 03/30/19 around 7pm. (I think she deserves a raise) 👍
