Dropped off radio Monday, Steve told me that it would be about a week, called me Wednesday that it was ready. Also told me how to get antenna mounts cleaned up for better reception. I have a Cobra 29 from the mid eighties, definitely a classic, so he works on the old stuff as well. Very reasonable prices.

My father sends his cb radios in through mail he’s had his uniden radios and a few others sent in the owner keeps in touch with information pertaining to what he’s doing .the radios are done proper and work really good .this is not your hack job cb shop this is the real deal someone who cares about doing good work my big rig radio will soon be going as well

WELL THE REVIEWS ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!! Thus gentleman took care of my radio issue in less than 10 minutes!!! He was knowledgeable and very nice and advised me of the causes of my issue. So far, I am extremely happy (and impressed) with this company. I have an RV in which I am trying to get a CB up and running in. I am experiencing what I believe are antenna problems. After several attempts on my own, I contacted Q5 for help. My wife and I are leaving on a trip on July 23rd which routes us right through Deforest. I asked Steve (the owner) if I could swing in. Obviously Steve said "sure"...after all, that's what he's in business for, right? That was on July 11th. Since that time, I have corresponded with Steve (initiated by Steve himself) multiple times per day via email trying to rectify the issues. He requests pictures and then sends emails back with arrows on the pictures and a written description with additional questions and/or suggestions. Now, here's a guy who's in BUSINESS right? His livelihood revolves around providing a service that (among many other things, I assume) helps people like me. In my assessment, he's probably spent 2-3 hours cumulatively (so far) online trying to help me and solve my issue for FREE! I don't know about everyone else, but to me, that's a good guy, as well as OUTSTANDING customer service...not to mention a pretty "rare find" these days! This guy DESERVES your business (and mine)! I intend on stopping in there on the 23rd and giving him some business whether or NOT he figures out my issues beforehand!!

Q5 has become my only stop for CB service. He's very reasonable on price and an expert you can rely on. Very honest and straightforward. I will go out of my way and bypass other well-known CB shops to come here. Do your research and you'll see that, nationwide, no one comes with higher independent reviews than Q5. Truckers like me come from out of state because we trust the service here. Our CB's are an essential tool on the road and we don't trust our safety to just anyone. 👍👍

Steve and his Q5 CB Shop have been a longtime favorite for my CB Radios for the better part of 30 years. You'll have a much better quality Radio and signal strength after he installs one, including best antennas and coaxial cable for your vehicle!

Bought my first radio here in 1983. Still works great. Since then I've purchased 3 more. They all work great. Only minor repairs on 2 of the 4 lifetime. I've been in CB shops from Florida to Texas. These guy are by far the best around!

Referred to this store by a work colleague. I was not disappointed. Had recently bought a new CB after years of not using one and the owner sold me a great antenna for it. Further, days later, my 2 week old "Brand New" CB from Cobra all of a sudden stopped being able to transmit! Took it here and owner informed me the radio was fine, the Mic was junk! Thanks Cobra. Gave the owner ten bucks and he went in to the Mic guts and fixed the issue in 15 minutes! Works good as new. Recommend this store to anyone needing CB work or radio work. Thanks!
