I've been with RCU for years. And overall they have been good. Unfortunately this incident has me a little confused and basically ready to close my accounts. I cash my payroll check as I do every Thursday, nothing was Said to me at the drive thru and I went about my day. That night I looked at my account online, and find out they put a 2 day hold on the check. I called rcu and the lady explained mobile deposits and personal checks can be held for 2 days. I fell under neither of those categories. Frustrated I called back, the lady this time tried to verify funds through my companies bank, and that didn't work. So she explained to me that they felt if the check were to bounce and I spend that money I then need to repay that money, and they don't feel I would be able to accomplish that. They have no idea of my money situation other then this bank account I have. They don't know about my cds my stocks my personal money in my safe. They assumed I wouldn't be able to pay back this amount so they chose to hold my paycheck from me Friday all the way till Monday. Now they did release 20% of it and how kind that was. When I explained I can cover it and got a little upset the lady pressed a button and released my funds. Now I don't remember reading any fine print stating they can use at there discretion there choice to not give someone there money. maybe I'm wrong maybe this is a common accurance and if it is then more reason to close my account.

I have been disappointed with the rude and condescending treatment I have received from employees at this location. It is bad enough for me to want to switch banks. This has occurred on two separate occasions and is totally uncalled for.

They use to be a really good credit union but the quality in service these past months have been rude and disgraceful. Been banking with them for a while but lately I can't get help from them no matter how many people I talk to. When my account got hacked they refused to help and when you make a purchase and the carrier is impossible to get ahold of that resulted in multiple same transactions/charges which is fraud, they also refused to help or refund. I suggest you chose elsewhere to bank.

Turned in a form on Tuesday, to have my payment date switched and on Monday it came out on the original payment date. Totally screwed me over. Could have been avoided by simply doing your job. Figure it out RCU, I’m very unhappy with you guys. The only reason you got two stars is because the lady I talked to from Eau Claire was really nice and understanding. Other than that I wouldn’t recommend you guys to ANYONE.

Always friendly and ready to help! Fast too. The ATM is open 24/7 and allows you to deposit cash straight from the ATM. Makes it so much easier.

I just got a $1.95 credit card bill for a credit card that was paid in full and closed in 2009. I haven't had an account with RCU for over 6 years. RCU is a pain to work with, and apparently will even send you a bill when you're no longer using their services.

Melanie is the kindest, sweetest, most paitent and helpful person! I have worked with her twice now and she always goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of! I can not thank her enough for all of her help and support! I will send everyone I know to RCU!

Top notch workers, their online account management is the best I've seen. I can send money between accounts at any time of day and have it work fast enough to pay immediately after selecting yes to the transfer. Setting up auto transfers to savings, other person's accounts is perfect for my situations. Now they even work with Android pay and I was able to set that up in less than 5 minutes while on a lunch break. I recommend them to everyone.

Top notch bank in every way I can think of, and I've always had a great experience when dealing with RCU, at both the Hudson and New Richmond offices! Even the telephone operators are great to work with. 5 star bank all the way, and I'd recommend RCU to anyone and everyone.
