Wish I could give a zero...Very sad experience this weekend as my husband and I have trusted Veterinary Village for roughly 14 years. In additional to the below my bill was $100 more at Vet Village compared to the ER - BluePearl in Appleton. The vet a BluePearl cared about my baby girl, Lindsey rather than cash flow. Brittany is very rude and would not allow me to talk to vet on duty. I HAD to wait until Tuesday (tomorrow) with a dog coughing every 5 minutes. Unbelievable, that I had to fight every inch of the way to the very end to get the records to switch vets. Thanks to BluePearl Lindsey and I did get a little sleep last night. Lindsey's cough had reduced greatly since being seen at BluePearl ER and Specialists. Good morning Heidi (manager) - letter sent to Heidi for records after I did Per, Wisconsin Statutes 89.075, I am requesting in writing records for the four patient's below: Lindsey Wetzel (including records from BluePearl dated 07-10-22 and x-rays taken at Veterinary Village on 07-08-22 including the x-ray interpretation from Madison, WI) Sunny Wetzel Sasha Wetzel Zoe Wetzel Per our conversation earlier today (07/11/22) in which you stated I owners could not have records and it was policy of veterinary village to only send the records to other vets. I had to do all this research on medical records for animals with a sick dog. Brittany had been very rude all weekend also while trying to get Lindsey the help that she needed. I have been calling since May regarding this. She would not give me a diagnosis on Saturday and said she was not a doctor - then told my husband she did give me a diagnosis - telling me on Sunday she gave me a diagnosis and I misunderstood the diagnosis just as I did the Prednisone dosage.(which I admitted that I did - however not on purpose.) I had to taper the Prednisone down and I believed the last had been 1/2 tablet twice a day. The chart said 1/2 pill once a day. I was wrong but that does not mean I misunderstood her when she told me that I could not have a diagnosis until Dr. Zella called me Tuesday and his message was to stop the Lasix and that was the treatment plan for now. I asked to speak to a vet yesterday and I was going to ask once again for cough medicine. Brittany put me on hold and came back on the line to say I could not talk to the vet on duty and had to wait for Dr. Zella on Tuesday as Lindsey's cough was getting worse and I could hear a noise when she was sleeping (I did not know if lungs or if she was congested). I paid $406 on Friday and could not talk to a vet on Sunday. I took Lindsey to BluePearl after being told I could not talk to the vet, explained her symptoms and was told to bring her in. I told Brittany Lindsey's coughing was worse yesterday and she wanted to focus on not letting me talk to a vet besides Dr. Zella instead of helping Linsday. Brittany also told me another receptionist was standing nearby on Saturday and heard her tell me that Lindsey had pneumonia on her first call to me. How can that be if she is not supposed to give up a diagnosis? Anytime Don, my husband, called he was put on hold and they would get Brittany on the line. We could not talk to anyone but Brittany all weekend. I took Lindsey to BluePearl to be seen. I asked Don to call Brittany and ask her to send the x-rays to Blue Pearl as I could not take the disrespect any longer while trying to get Lindsey the help she needed. Lindsey did get diarrhea on top of the cough due to the amoxicillin that she did not need. The x-ray from Veterinary Village could not be used due to black blobs on the x-ray - so I am wondering how anyone in Madison read the x-ray. BluePearl had to take their own x-rays. Linsdsey DID NOT have pneumonia = she was misdiagnosed at Veterinary Village. Please 24 below. See VE 7.06 Wisconsin Legislature below: VE 7.06 Unprofessional conduct. Unprofessional conduct by a veterinarian is prohibited. Unprofessional conduct includes: 24) Failure to release a patient's medical records as required by s. 89.075, Statues

Dr. Ahmann is a godsend. She is the most knowledgeable and caring veterinarian I have ever met. When our bernese mountain dog had a major health issue due to still being intact, we were seen right away and she helped put his health back on track. We are so grateful we found the Veterinarian Village and that our pup was placed under Dr. Ahmann’s care. Newport has no hesitation when he visits (unlike our old vet) which is a testament to the wonderful environment the entire staff creates. Dr. Ahmann has changed Newport’s life for the better due to her expertise of intact dogs, kindness and passion for what she does.

I have known Drs Greer and Griffith for over 30 years and have always found them to be extremely knowledgeable and caring. They get your girl right in for a c-section and my corgis and babies are given the best care. Their demand for top notch care and knowledge is evident throughout the entire staff and hospital. This is the ONLY place that I have my c-sections done, and I drive 2.5 hours for veterinary care because it is worth every penny.

My wife and I have been clients of the Veterinary Village since long before it was a Veterinary Village. Dr's Greer and Griffiths have tended to our show dogs and pets for at least 30 years. I am a very tough client, and demand the best. I would trust them with our pet's lives without question.

We were extremely happy with Bella's visit with Dr Greer. She listens to our concerns and is amazing with our pets. Bella was sick and is doing so much better now because of Dr Greer. The staff and everyone there were very friendly and helpful. Thankful for having a place we trust for our fur babies. - Cathy and Scott

I was referred to Vet Village by my veterinarian because we bred my dog. I called to schedule an ultrasound on July 27 and talked to Holly being told they had to have the medical staff find out when they could get me in, great. No call back, tried a second time on July 30 was told, "oh I see the note here someone will contact you soon." Never happened, care might be great if you ever make it through the front door. Found someone else that would take care of what ended up to be 10 puppies. I guess they lost my business for docked tails, dew claws, worming, exams and vaccinations. I'll take my money and repeat business elsewhere since others seem to care. Mind you I understand the medical world, I work in it, but not even calling me back is terrible business.

My dog was spayed by Dr. Greer yesterday, and it was such a great experience. All the staff (notably, Trish, but everyone else as well) were informative and compassionate. You can tell everyone at the clinic truly cares about animals. Dr. Greer is good-humored and very professional, and she answered all my questions before/after the surgery. She even gave me a kind recap of my dog’s manners throughout the day, which really made me, as an owner, feel included in the process. My dog was happy to be at the clinic and loved meeting all the staff. Check-out was very smooth. My dog seemed comfortable with the tech who brought her out to me. The clinic made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. I only wish I lived closer so that Dr. Greer could be my regular vet!

Last weekend was Labor Day weekend. Our dog needed a C-section. Dr. Zella and several technicians came in on a scheduled day off to perform the surgery. We were provided with wonderful service, and our mama dog, and her puppies received wonderful care. We are so blessed that we live close to such a great reproductive veterinary hospital.

Once again, exceptional treatment. My older dog, Kirby was obviously in distress and they were able to squeeze us in. The care and patience spent with him to diagnose his issue by Dr. Griffith has always made me feel confident my pets are receiving the best care. Would highly recommend.

This clinic is AMAZING! The staff is friendly, informative, and non-judgemental. They genuinely care about your animal, you, and the lifestyle you live. I live an hour north of the clinic and ITS WORTH IT. I'll never take my animals anywhere else. Thank you for all you've done for our pack. ❤️
