Terrible business. Let me explain since the owner seems to think this review is spam, where as the positive reviews have to be fake or spam because the staff here are neither helpful or courteous. YouTube videos are more helpful and that’s pretty sad.

This business closes at 5pm and is located next door to a satellite MSCR location that offers evening classes. I made the mistake of parking in one of their spots for a class that doesn't start until 6pm and got a parking ticket. Not a huge deal but the police officer told me they only come out and issue tickets if the business owner calls them. The store was closed for the evening and all the lights were out when I parked there. Even if they were waiting for a late delivery or something, it's pretty lame to call the cops instead of just asking someone to move their car. Madison is a great community with a lot of wonderful local small businesses but this is not one of them.

My TV needed to be repaired. I was given a recommendation for Modern TV and Electronic Services in Madison, Wisconsin. I received a working TV again with a picture that looks better than when it was new. Their excellent service given made me very pleased. From now on they will have all of my repairs. Had a Vizio 70” TV that had a broken antenna receptor. They fixed it very quickly and were very professional. Very happy with my experience and would use them again if needed. Highly recommend.

We recently had a newer tv stop functioning on us, and as it was warranty the manufacturer set us up thru Modern TV for its repair. They diagnosed the issue, as luck would have it the part came in the next day; and the tv was quickly repaired and ready to go. So a fast turnaround and great customer service.

The lady on the phone was very friendly and able to provide the info I needed to know about cost of bringing a TV in for repair. I was told they charge $94 plus tax to look at the TV. They'll call and tell you what's wrong and if you want it fixed they apply the charge to the final bill. If you don't want it fixed the keep the full $94 plus tax. Still too expensive if you end up not wanting it fixed or it unrepairable.
