I’ll start by saying I do like Woodmans. Great selection and better prices then any other area grocery stores. BUT my last 4 shopping trips I’ve come back and found multiple items with mold in it. Mostly produce but some canned food as well. Don’t understand how so much can go bad and just left on the shelf. Need to pay closer attention to the stock.

Best prices and variety in Madison. Download the app to use the product search and it will give you the isle and sub-section of the isle. Open 24/7. Later at night you will have the store to yourself but may need to manuver around the staff restocking the shelves. Attached liquor store also largest, best priced in the area. They have a service to do the shopping for you and pick it up, but I never used it.

This location is always busy but with the selection and pricing, of course it is. Woodman's has been my go to for groceries for years. Large clean aisles. During peak times, they have cashiers. I'm not a fan of self checkout when I have a full cart.

Heard a lot of good things about this store and going for my first time I can see what some of the hype is about. Firstly it's very big which seems good but taking a deeper dive in I was unable to find much of any good produce. The onions, cucumbers, green onions, nectarines and peaches were not looking their finest so I was unable to get a few things on my list. I informed a staff about the mold and rotted fruit and they took it out of the cardboard bins. The Hispanic and Asian isles were greatly overpriced compared to other stores, I did not feel as if I was getting a good deal. And when it came time to pay I was surprised to find out they don't accept visa or american express or any other major credit card except discover (I wish this had been posted clearly in front of the store I have never encountered this). Thank God I brought cash. They also accept debit and checks. One good thing I found here was a selection of local breads that were very unique and tasty. The staff was polite and friendly and there was plenty of parking.

We go here often. Plenty of fresh, healthy food. We changed our diets, and woodman's has everything we need. Generally polite shoppers. Clean, well lit shopping environment. Excellent parking, good cart lanes, polite workers. I love the self checkout option, as I don't like to stand there watching someone else work. I appreciate the labels below the products, with the price per ounce, so I can compare and spend my budget wisely. I'm not a blind, grab - and - go shopper. I'm a product label reader now, and I don't feel like I'm in the way, as there are wide aisles. People, this store chain has EVERYTHING, and multiple options of everything, which I'm not sure is entirely necessary. I care about my total bill at the register when I'm done. The app is especially useful, and I can locate the items easily and create lists. I can also compare prices with Walmart an make my choices ahead of time. Plenty of locations. Paper or plastic.

Big selection, decent prices. If you can't find it here, you definitely won't find it at the other grocery stores unless you go to the Asian grocery by East Towne Mall for something REALLY exotic. They have a nice import section, giant liquor store and lots of local foods too. Can't beat their frozen pizza selection either. The only reason I give them four stars instead of five is their produce is always hit or miss.

When I visited the store it was late and there was a lot of activity going on. Stocking the shelves and cleaning the store. This location definitely works hard to make their store clean and shoppable for their customers. The main reason I'm leaving this review is because I had more than one employee smile and greet me to make sure I was finding everything okay as I shopped. They were genuinely helpful.

Great grocery store to shop at...great selections and fantastic pricing. For instance, I recently picked up a can of Pringles for $1.69, and those are typically $2:50+ elsewhere. Self checkout is available. The liquor department also has a great selection and equally fantastic pricing. Automated drones servicing the store from time to time as well. Well lit parking lot!

I love Woodman's been a customer and been going there for 20 or More years there selection is basically unbeatable, they have all sorts of produce, product of all sorts, chip galore, different nationality foods and spices, there deli area is huge, tons of registers and self check outs as well, always been great with returns, they do a great job all around and always love going there and glad to shop there with and without my family I have now, gone there since I was little and now take my own family there to share the old memories love it.

Being new to Wisconsin I decided to check out Woodman's so I drove a half hour and my god I've never seen anything like it! Firstly, it's open 24 hours which is great! I prefer to shop late when there isn't throngs of people. Secondly, I've never seen so many groceries under one roof in my life. It's insane! They had flavors of yogurt, frozen pizza brands etc. I didn't even know were made. Third, being as I just moved from the Northeast I was so happy to see Cabot from Vermont being stocked! I was afraid I wouldn't find Cabot out here. Fourth, the gentleman working at the registers was very nice. And lastly, the prices are incredible at least compared to what I'm used to in the NYC area. The only things I wished they had were insulated shopping bags, which would have been nice for cold items, given the half our drive home. Fortunately, it was cold enough outside that things were ok in the trunk. I can see myself driving here on occasion for things I can't find elsewhere so if I forget my insulated bags it would be nice. Also, finding someone at night that knows where things are was a challenge. I asked a few people for help and the store is so big they couldn't tell me where to find things. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be back. Definitely for Cabot products and cheese. It's quite the store!
