Every 2-3 months I buy $300 of various exotic wood to be creative with (i.e. decompress from having to live around all of you crazies 😜). Over the last few years, I've sampled all of them on Amazon and a handful of others. You know the saying "if it's not close, they can't cheat." That's how much the order that I received from Ocooch Hardwoods compared to my experience with the others. Blew them away in generous board feet quantity, size, and quality. It was also packaged and wrapped much better, and I think it even smelled better. I don't know I'm kind of a novice wood player so I'm just calling how I see it & ordering from these folks again. Excellence all around. Everything I’ve purchased has been shipped quickly and packaged very nice and tight to prevent possible warping. Every piece has worked great with my laser and cuts very nicely with no glue pockets to hinder it. Pricing is much better than anyplace else I’ve tried and the quality is better than the other more expensive craft quality sellers. You’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who can beat the overall excellence of ocooch hardwoods!

My son wanted some coasters made for his wedding and found this place as a source for the materials. I bought a bunch of Cherry and Maple and the project is looking awesome baecause of the dimensional consistency and quality of the wood you will receive from this organization. When I don't have the time or ambition to mill lumber from rough, this is my go to place. The lumber is project ready and takes little to no extra work to get ready. They also have a lot of exotic pieces that would not be cost effective to purchase anywhere else. the staff is really amazing. They are always there to get you exactly what you need or if there is an issue. So I suggest contacting them directly with any problems they get back to you quickly and are helpful. My only issue is that it seems to take 8 days from placing the order until it get shipped. Not a big issue, just something to keep in mind when you are ordering for a project.

This business is fantastic! I've sent two orders that were promptly filled and sent within 3-4 working days. I've never seen such beautiful wood! The folks there are awesome, courteous and kind not to mention proficient! The prices are surprisingly reasonable considering the beauty and quality of the wood. I've been scroll sawing for over 35 years and have never stumbled across a company like this. I'm hooked on this company! THESE ARE MY PEOPLE!😀

This is my go-to shop for any and all hardwoods! I've been ordering Walnut, Maple, Cherry and now Quarter Sawn White Oak and have NEVER had any issues! Every order arrives expertly packaged and every piece of wood is of high quality and exact measurements as requested. I never have to worry about picking out the "best" quality ones or wondering how to work around any defects - there aren't any. On top of all of that the prices and shipping costs are very fair. I purchased some black walnut lumber from Ocooch Hardwoods for a Wrist Watch Wall Clock project. The lumber provided was excellent - great milling, attractive grain, no sap wood and no warp/bow/twist. I will be buying more lumber from them in the future. Great supplier.
