Your policy rules sucks for one bad customer service for two... I couldn't return a part because it already been installed in my car but that wasn't the problem so why not take it back

Advance has consistently met or exceeded my expectations with the parts I need, assistance on the phone and with their great attitude. Recently I was having battery issues. They not only had multiple versions for my car, but cheerfully installed it.

First bad experience with this store. I'm guessing a new manager has something to do with it. Employees were great, but the manager was difficult. Advance (at least this store) will no longer clear auto computer codes, nor let the customer do so. So if you do your own work, but still have a check engine light ... they're not going to help you. I bought sensors about a year ago from Advance, they helped read the code, and I purchased new sensors from them. knew that I might still be covered under a warranty, but before visiting the store I removed and cleaned both the MAP sensor and Intlet ManifoId Control Runner Sensor... sometimes that'll fix a problem. That did not work. The code still indicated a manifold runner problem. But to clear the code I had to drive my limping car to Firestone and ask them for help ... even though are very busy with only two techs. So, Firestone cleared the code and I returned to Advance, and the check engine came back on and problems still existed. All I wanted to do was check the purchase date and replace the part, preferably under warranty. In a less than friendly tone, I was greeted by the manager on the return trip, although I had asked if the other employee that I worked with earlier was available since he already was familiar with the issue. I got a terse "NO." I explained the issue again, told her I just returned from having the code cleared at Firestone ... then she told me to return to Firestone and have them diagnose the diagnosis. Are you kidding me, waste more time and money? And, I am the mechanic, a faulty part is the problem? Although she at one point told me the sensor in question was under warranty, and she was resisting honoring it ... she finally and reluctantly made the right decision to replace the sensor for me ... until she looked closer at her computer and found the part was actually 1 week out of warranty. After that experience, I told her I would never buy another part her store and left. She seemed very okay with that. But, I also I was going to share my experience, which was very poor. And, as a footnote ... I do believe her employees were not happy about the unfortunate changes in customer service, seemed intimidated by her. So sad. I hate to see a good company and store go bad.

Great experience with Isaac! He installed a new battery in no time and we were out of there. Definitely will go back to this store for their great customer service and willingness to help!

Rolled in with an ATV battery and the customer server was amazing. I was hardly through the door when 2 service reps asked me if I needed help. They tested my bad battery and then my new battery to show me it was good to go. I'll be back for sure.

Normally I don't do reviews, but this is the worst service I've ever had. My check engine light came on. The person at the counter said that, I would have to be the one to plug the reader in which is fine because of covid. I asked would I be able to at least, find out what the code means from them. He said I would have to Google it to find out. Like he couldn't type the code in, so i could know whats wrong, and what to buy. So I went right across the street to Auto Zone. No problem what so ever. They even made $137.00 for the part that I needed. Terrible terrible terrible business.
