I have been a loyal customer since it was an Exxon and a local my entire life. I honestly have never had a bad experience in this store before tonight. I walk in and go straight to the item I intended to purchase. I walked up to the counter, and placed the item down. “How are you?” I said with no response. No big deal. “Y’all been busy tonight, any good business?” I said with zero acknowledgment. Must be a bad night for her I thought in my head. She rang me up and I noticed that the price was higher than what the sticker said. I didn’t worry about it and started the purchase process anyways due to it being a dollar difference. I told her about the discrepancy just so she would know, but she proceeded to chew me out. Like for real. I was shocked and didn’t know how to respond. I couldn’t believe she would do all that for me telling her about the price difference. She basically called me stupid because I didn’t tell her before I bought it. I tried to explain but she wouldn’t let me talk as she raised her voice to a scream and told me the police were coming!!!!!! Hahahaha…. Really??? I walked out. They can keep it. Amazing… Sunday, June 19. 2022. Early am.

The employees greeted me with a hello and a smile, generously met my needs and we're very polite during my transaction. The store appeared cleaned and as well the shelves and drink coolers were stocked. The parking lot was well lit and as well appeared tidy. I didn't get fuel so I wasn't able to check how the pumps worked or to see if there was tools to clean your windshield. Loved the attendants attitude and smile!

This is one of the best gas stations I have been to. Great variety of drinks and snacks, and a good beer selection! The guy at the front desk is so friendly- it's a good thing to wake up to in the morning (along with a cup of coffee).

Went to fill up with gas this morning, got an error that card swipe wasn’t available at this time, went in to pay and the attendant was asleep!!! She wouldn’t let me fill up because I didn’t know how much I would need. I offered to leave my debit card & license with her while I filled up. Will NEVER be back.

I've been going to this location for 20 years (well before it was a Mapco) and I just can't anymore. The manager is great (the extra star is for her), but for her hiring skills. I feel uncomfortable due to the strange stares and passive aggressive, "I'm gong to finish putting up the cigarettes before acknowledging this customer because I don't like the way he doesn't want to stand and chat for 10 minutes every time he comes in" behavior. Seriously, the big sweaty cashier dude was always nice and friendly until one time I didn't feel talkative and kind of gave him the cold shoulder. From that point on he has made sure to move at a glacial pace while searing into my skull with abnormally long, silent eye contact. Just too creepy to deal with anymore.

My fiancé and I wanted to let you know of a phenomenal employee that you have on staff at MAPCO store 1006 on Jeff Road in Huntsville AL. This morning we were on our way to a family emergency from Huntsville to Melbourne FL. After filling up on gas and washing our windows, our car wouldn't turn over. Your employee, Brittney, not only offered to jump is off but also gave us her jumper cables in case it happened again while on our trip. Her attitude and help gave us a moment of brightness in the midst of a stressful time. Just so you know, this isn't the only time she has met us with a smile and exemplary assistance. We will now always go to MAPCO for our automotive needs. Thank you MAPCO for hiring amazing people.

This was my favorite place to stop for gas until today February 20 2018. About 2:55 close to 3:00 I stopped for $20 in gas on pump 4. Yes I wasn't paying attention and the pump kept rolling. When I noticed a man came to my vehicle and pulled the hose out of my truck. He didn't explain anything and went back in the store. Being the type of person I am I paid what seemed to be the cashier fault. Oh well no problem.....I asked for a statement of what I paid for he kept printing the wrong one. I was really was pressing for time so I'm like forget it..long story short..He short changed me. I hoped the money in the register that came up over he can buy him a coke or something...Very dissatisfied!!!

Clean restroom, decent verity of snacks... My only gripe is this station can be a real pain to get in and out of quickly ***if there is a tanker filling up the gas station tanks.

Beware ! Truly awkward staff - white female named Louise & stout black male (not sure of his name), but he seems to know a little of nothing & she is rude as heck! She bagged over 6-20oz bottles in a single bag & copped an attitude when I asked her to double bag it. Not sure if they're lights are on a timer, but I pulled up to get gas, one night, 10 minutes 'til the time they closed and I saw someone inside, the lights were on, I got out of my car and popped my gas door, and inserted my card & all the lights went out !!! -_- Given the list of crimes/police investigations at that store, I decided against sticking around. I didn't have time to deal with attitudes that night. I met a polar opposite set of staff members earlier in the day once & I expressed to the cashier how I felt about those awkward staff members & his advice was to come earlier in the day. I try to make it a point to do that regularly, but my schedule doesn't agree 9x out of 10! Lastly, this location is light years BEHIND the OTHER S !!!!! You can't even enter your phone number in lieu of inserting your rewards card !!! Plus, on the inside of the store YOU have to ASK the night shift cashiers to enter your rewards number!!! At the others they automatically ASK YOU for it. Bottom line, the night shift needs to TIGHTEN UP or I'll be driving the extra mile to the location across, on Slaughter, point blank !!!!!
